This Nancy Drew especially was amazing the scenery and people looked so real and the puzzles were fantastic and challenging which I like. It still cracks me up. Love it! This one is one of my top favorites. Worth the money. I love that the DEVS don't insult our intelligence and actually give some puzzles that take some puzzling to work out. Is the tomb cursed? In this game, Nancy has to figure out who attacked Jon Boyle and whether the mysterious tomb is really the one where legendary queen Nefertari is buried. I LandGrabbers on amateur so I had the checklist too, but I did use outside hints from time to time as Bess is pretty useless, as are the hints you can read on the phone. There are also easter eggs in this game do something expected you get a literal easter egg in game which are so fun to find.

Page 1 of I love playing the Nancy Drew games because they are games that take time and aren't over in one day. Leaves your mouth open at the end. Other than that I love this game. I give this game 3 out of 5 stars because of underdeveloped characters and the story being a bit underdeveloped as well. Loved the Sennett game here and intended to go back to it frequently but, either I am the best Sennett player in the world or the game is rigged for me to win. The idea of a hidden language inside an already cryptic language is exciting too so no complaints there. Remember it's a manual save button like the other games so save often but there is a 'second chance' button if you make a mistake which means it will take you back to just before you made a mistake. The clues are all there to find, it's just a case of piecing them together. In my mind, the previous one is perfect. You can't see what they are until you are finished so if you want to know what to find, look it up online. I have gotten used to the new one, but it's too much like all the other games nowadays. Using our detective skills we have to get to the bottom of things, by talking to and gleaning information from the characters, keeping our eyes peeled for clues, and engaging those little grey cells to overcome puzzles and challenges set in our path. It took me a little while to figure out the game so before I could finish it some other game came out.

Helpfully, you don't have to make as many notes in this one, as Nancy seems to have finally decided to use her journal more, and you have the phone on Sparkle Unleashed camera to help you too. A few of the characters were a bit one dimensional in my opinion and the story had a few holes in it. Exploring the tomb is is the best part of the game, discover ancient Egyptian secrets, solve puzzles about Egyptian Gods and Goddesses. The detail throughout the tomb, the hieroglyphs, all the way down to the smallest object lying in the sand Hotchkiss, a legend of ND games! Any Lara fans out there might recognise one of the puzzles. All in all, one of my favorite ND games yet. Pay attention to the dialogue. It still cracks me up. I loved the soundtrack as well, it went perfectly with the game and was unpredictable, so you couldn't rely on it to predict what was going to happen, what with all those accidents around. Despite that, it has made my "Favorites List"!

I love the setup of the newer games like this one because it's easier to move around and great for people who may have never played one before. This is a great game, it would be a perfect choice if you've never played a Nancy Drew game before. As always, this game was rich in history and lore. This one is one of my top favorites. I enjoyed having Hotchkiss as a phone friend like in The Crystal Skull , but this was the best of the two because there was more dialogue and there was more character development for Hotchkiss. Despite that, it has made my "Favorites List"!

  1. This one is one of my top favorites. I highly recommend this game for the serious player who wants a challenge. I will admit that it did take a few tries to fully get into the game, but once I did, I wondered why it took me so long in the first place.

  2. But I understand some people don't like puzzles and just like adventure, so be aware there are a lot of puzzles in this game. Requires lots of patience! Confusing puzzles and setting! The plot moves along without many slow spots or slumps, and I loved the setting. The best one, of course, is prof.

  3. I was wondering when they would make a game with Nancy in Egypt. Last puzzle was the most annoying puzzle - took me too long. I loved the soundtrack as well, it went perfectly with the game and was unpredictable, so you couldn't rely on it to predict what was going to happen, what with all those accidents around.   5. Like all ND games when there are some the BF still do the achievements and ND games always do the best achievements - a mixture of fun ones and weird ones! Plus, Professor Hotchkiss is a phone friend. Remember it's a manual save button like the other games so save often but there is a 'second chance' button if you make a mistake which means it will take you back to just before you made a mistake. Loved the Sennett game here and intended to go back to it frequently but, either I am the best Sennett player in the world or the game is rigged for me to win. The Egyptian lore interwoven into the story was very interesting and made for a lovely gaming experience.

As with most ND games, I find the scenery to be a bit limiting and should be more interactive. As always, there are many puzzles, lots of hieroglyphs to decipher which, actually are "skippable" - you can automatically "solve" them, if you are totally fed up and lots of clues to pick up from different people. It still cracks me up.

  14. The puzzles were fun. You can't see what they are until you are finished so if you want to know what to find, look it up online. This has the new interface and you will note that there is a journal! Last puzzle was the most annoying puzzle - took me too long.
