Spyde Solitaire

Spyde Solitaire updates the classic spider solitaire game with dynamic visuals, multiple play modes, and a clever soundtrack. The main game mode progresses in difficulty as you conquer the map and prove your mastery. You can even play a game based on the options that you enjoy most. The drawn character cards and period musical flourishes accentuate the playing experience of Spyde Solitaire.

The challenge has worn off and frustration has set in. This game actually gives you a challenge. There is no storyline nor real theme. I find this game to be excellent at having to think things through and take up some time Extra packs of cards are required to make up the numbers. That was after trying a few times on different days of being unsuccessful. You can beat the level using all 3 of your power ups. In order to win some hands, using the power ups is a must. So, unless you are willing to play the same game over and over again and fail, do not bother with this game. It took me moves and I had to use all 10 power ups to win that level but I did it. Card Layout The game is played with two packs of playing cards. There is no skip button and no hint button. Don't be fooled by the first 15 levels into thinking this will be a relaxing or enjoyable game. I gave it four stars because although I do love the game, there is one aspect that is frustrating about it. Objective The object of the game is to build Soliitaire of descending suit sequence from King to Ace. Spider One Suit and Two Suit game variations exist that still use cards, but only use the Spades in the one suit game and Spades and Hearts in the two Spyde Solitaire game. In order to win some hands, using the power ups is a must. There is no skip button and no hint button. The remaining cards are placed face down to form the stock. This is one of the best solitaire games I've played.

Level of challenge: Up until Level 16, the challenge level is fine, but at 16 the challenge is so absurd that you cannot progress any further. There is a "full screen" mode, but I was unable to get the game to go into full screen, so ended up playing in a small window. So you end up having to play the same hand over and over again until you either figure out how to win it, or you get lucky and move the cards exactly the right way in order to win. Please make more Solitaire Games like this one! Nothing that comes before prepares you for a 4-suite spider. This game has so many unique ways of playing Solitaire! The game is challenging enough to provide well over 20 hours of gameplay just to get through the 30 different levels.
