What I like most about the JMsolitaire games are the Bonus games, which I keep playing for months after I finish the main game. Some cards contain coins that can be used in the Shop to purchase Power-ups, Wildcards that are number specific, Jokers, Undos, Shuffles etc. Yesterday these guys unleashed the awesome Zombie Solitaire game and today they have released the first ever that I'm aware of Collector's Edition Solitaire game! Some cards are blocked, requiring you to find tool cards to unlock them, such as Keys for Lock cards, Sickles for Vine cards, Scissor for Ribbon cards, and my favorites, Wax Seals requiring color specific cards to be played consecutively, and suit specific cards, or Frozen cards that require 2 plays to remove them. I think the graphics are well done. As with a lot of creative developers, they tend to get lazy and keep re-hashing the same game over and over. The more I got into the levels it became slow going takes ages to get enough coins to buy upgrades.. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by reidun70 from Jewel match the best of the best! You can earn up to 3 Stars per level and you can Replay the levels as often as you want to try to remove all of the Cards. Love the hole serie, Enjoy people! Bonus games are unlocked gradually through the game, each being a different kind of solitaire. A Collector's Edition that's worth it! The castles that you build are gorgeous as well!

You won't be disappointed. If you pick this game up during a CE sale, what could be better, enjoy! Stars unlock the other variations, accessible from the "bonus games" area. The Level Map will show you how many Emeralds are available on each level. The card backs and faces are really awesome and can completely change the look and feel of the game. The castles that you build are gorgeous as well! In just a few minutes of play I moved beyond one-up-one-down and could play both Klondike and Spider, two of my favorites! As with a lot of creative developers, they tend to get lazy and keep re-hashing the same game over and over. You gain coins for power-ups, such as jokers, undo cards, and shuffles. Each level requires you to Collect Emeralds which allows you to purchase Castle Sections. The card locks, which are introduced early on, in this case ribbons, chains, vines and seals, fairly quickly makes some of the hands with their layouts difficult. The key here is that you can replay a hand as many times as you want and you will not lose the progress you acquired in the previous play, which makes challenging yourself to get all the emeralds and stars much more enjoyable. If you want to collect the whole JM serious then fine I recommend it.

It has the usual Jewel Match features, clean, pretty graphics, item shop to power up your play, castle building more than one , different levels of play difficulty, progressing through the map with stars and build items. In the one-up-one-down variation the hands have the usual impediments necessitating the removal ice, vines, etc. GET IT!

  1. You can earn up to 3 Stars per level and you can Replay the levels as often as you want to try to remove all of the Cards. Haven't seen the one where you need the suit to unlock them. I also play Jewel Match Twilight Solitaire, same awesome music!!

  2. I've always admired people who could write music for the movies. If you pick this game up during a CE sale, what could be better, enjoy! Stars unlock the other variations, accessible from the "bonus games" area. There are 24 Trophies to earn, and 5 Castles to build in the main game, even more in the Bonus Section, with the Emeralds you earn.

  3. The more I got into the levels it became slow going takes ages to get enough coins to buy upgrades.. It also takes a while to purchase the power ups so you are on your own for many levels! Don't worry, you only play 4 or 5 hands before upgrading, it goes quickly. It would also be nice if they didn't require you to double click the Deck after making a Combo. 7. The card locks, which are introduced early on, in this case ribbons, chains, vines and seals, fairly quickly makes some of the hands with their layouts difficult. And why do we always have to build castles? So, you can follow the traditional rules, or only go through the deck once if you really want it hard!

My only complaint is that I wish the Star Scoring pop-up window wouldn't bounce a few times when it appears because I have to wait for the bouncing to stop before I can click the Re-play tab.
