Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by skullfun from Excellent SE with brilliant cut-scenes and amazing environments with dynamic elements! The hidden object scenes are mostly the list based kinds and they have really good object placement to make them quite challenging while remaining fair, there are many of these scenes in the game and pretty much every single one is designed brilliantly which is a really impressive. On casual mode they weren't that difficult. As reflected in low ratings thus far, it is obviously not for the average HO gamer; yet if you love INDI style adventure lite and can think outside of the box, definitely give it a whirl. Lots of creativity went into this one and I loved the live actor angle, reminiscent of the older, must loved classic Mystery Tracker series [tho I am not saying it has as much gameplay value, at all, it stands on it's own and is well worth the price tag]. The story line is well written. Use Pin on backpack in Skeleton Cage room. I didn't find the game too short. Some of them are pretty hard to spot. Take Golden Sun Orb. It's more of an adventure game, and it doesn't hold your hand, which I love, but some apparently don't. He picked up a mallet and knocked himself on the back of the head.

  1. I am tired of candy-colored games and all the hand-holding. Back out. In terms of visuals, the art-style of I Know a Tale is pretty traditional as it follows a rather dark color scheme and has a similarly dark setting. Take Empty Jug. Note she still has powder.

  2. Grim Fandango has been re-released! If you want to play without thought, following a map from place to place, to rely on a hint feature to tell you what to do and where to go, then play today's game or any of the "big guy" games that are becoming indistinguishable from each other. The HOS are fun. You will either need to remember a lot or take notes - the journal isn't very helpful in that regard.

  3. Cut-scenes are a massive plus point for this game because rarely, if ever, can a cut-scene deliver the cinematic experience that the ones here can. But, to each their own. Take Token. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by Dargonnoone from Quirky but exceptional I can't quite put my finger on why this game was so good. Will you go buy some fish for our dinner?

  4. As you may have guessed, this walkthrough is more for the casual players than the seasoned experts. Rated 5 out of 5 by smilingsun72 from An ancient crystal that looks innocent but isn't! Give bull on right the hammer. Take video tape.

  5. This is also a great opportunity for you to test out whether you like the game or not. The HOS are fun. The infrequent HOS are list type and pretty easy, though some will require some interaction. The purpose of the little videos are to give you a sense of the time period and envirement the game is set in. I Know a Tale is a simple, straightforward game that you can relax with while enjoying the story.

  6. I seldom give a main page review, but this game is getting poor reviews I felt I had to add to the good ones. But, to each their own. Take crystal.

  7. Take Jug Symbol from skeleton heads mouth left side of wall. At times I had difficulty finding what to do next or where to go, but I enjoyed the challenge. Interactive lists, and recharge the crystal through finding morphing objects, unlisted. Some of them are pretty hard to spot.

  8. Play HOS. Take left tunnel to Golden Statue Room. Rated 5 out of 5 by smilingsun72 from An ancient crystal that looks innocent but isn't!

  9. Watch cutscene. He fell senseless to the floor. Skeleton Cage Room with backpack, cage, etc. I love the mix of live action scenes the first is long, but really set the scene well, so well what happens came as a big shock to me!

  10. The voice acting was will done. Go forward. May not be published or posted without permission. Back out once. Yes, the game, like MOST games, was made in another country, in another language.

  11. There was an awful lot of backwards and forwards which normally I hate but somehow I was so into the story that it didn't matter. Back out twice. Take Sinker.

  12. Take Sinker. I generally don't use the maps, anyway. This is more of a light adventure game, so there are not tons of hidden object scenes or loads of puzzles. Great detail. Grundtvig — was the preeminent folktale collector of Denmark.
