Lesson - don't always believe the reviews. Yet the game looks nice. An option to fix the inventory box would have been nice. Well done for that. What I did like: it was challenging, and you're not looking for pasted-in cell phones and computer disks in the 18th century. Hidden Object bright and big except for some. In that respect we can say the game succeeds in its purpose, as suggested by its title, to bring the novel to life. In many cases, you have to go back and forth between screens to collect everything, so having to wait for the scene to load again and again is annoying. It is not hard, and some of the mini-puzzles were quite lovely. The reason for marriage was not always for the reasons of love. The novel revolves around the choices people make when deciding who to marry and the socially difficult procedure they go through while attempting to find the right man or woman and the difficulties some people have to overcome before they can marry. I'm sure at her time what she wrote about was revolutionary but today I find it boring. It was thought that getting married was the only answer for security and money. Throughout the novel we see characters taking part in many different courtship and marriage situations. Give this a go. Let's get the "bad points" out of the way first. This book was unique at the time because it had only just become acceptable and suitable for women to write and publish novels. So overall the game has sufficient game elements to encourage me to endure through and finally get in a roundabout way what the fuss is all about Jane Austen and her novels.

In this novel the author Jane Austen has employed many characters that have some link in some way to show that marriages should not be just for money and security but they should sometimes be for love. As the roles of women have changed so have the roles of marriage, you do not have to see the background of whom you are going to marry financially and socially. The music was also nice, fitting and unobtrusive. I did buy another game with high reviews which I did not like at all. The Money was to support the women and also their families. She also believes that bad or unsuccessful marriages are based on irresponsible attitudes, ignorance and lack of reason and judgement; the couple must have self-understanding as well as that of their partner. It was fun. But that is just an opinion. Middle class women such as the Bennet sisters were into sewing, cooking, dancing, buying dresses and gossiping. Falling in Love would have been very rare at the time because it is important that you know the background of the person before you could carry on. It was thought that getting married was the only answer for security and money. I highly recommend giving it a fair shake folks!!

Yes, there were aspects of this game that were dorky - the constant scrolling from side to side, and particularly some of the language - poor spelling always check your spelling before publishing anything!   2. The HO scenes are contrived and don't mesh with the story at all, and huge parts of the plot are passed over without explanation. I'm sure at her time what she wrote about was revolutionary but today I find it boring. Haven't we played this game some days ago? Therefore he is a very rich and noble man who is a star attraction to all the ladies. Many married just to gain status or financial security.
