In Fatal Hearts you play the role of Christina Robinson. Help her navigate the puzzles that will solve the secrets behind her dreams. As the story unfolds you will be forced to make choices of who to believe, who to trust, and who to declare an enemy. Solve inquisitive puzzles and conquer challenges, but be careful, or Christina may become another victim!

Hope to see more reviews on this, as it is a little diamond in the rough! Fatal Hearts is an amazing visual novel game with a large variety of fun puzzles at various points. My problem - the pages move too fast. Starting the game was a frustrating experience, but the biggest problem was the fact it was loaded on a computer running Windows Vista I know… and the developer worked with me to solve the problem. Though simple in execution and design, Fatal Hearts easily captivates especially those who enjoy fantasy, mysteries, and Choose Your Own Adventures and You Be the Jury — stories where you decide what happens. I quite liked it, the majority of the game is a visual novel, but it does it well, giving the player an ample amount of choices, well developed characters, and the use of puzzles is very helpful in keeping the game interesting. Someone mentioned earlier that there is a few style changes with how some characters are drawn and this is true, but given when the game was made, I feel that it still told a wonderful story and the amount of endings reminds me of another game on here, called Cute Knight. Why aren't there more visual novels on BFG? The guide includes hints and spoilers, and best of all — information on how to skip a puzzle. Since my son hates to read, I let him watch as the game contains heavy dialogue — but I talked with him throughout the game to make sure he was OK. The result is a modern adventure where you can choose your way to one of fourteen possible endings. Visual novels are awesome and they focus on storytelling with interesting characters and worlds. It's a Visual Novel. If you like to read, and want something different then this would be an excellent genre to start. So if you don't mind reading storylines then this game would be wonderful for you. I have to say the puzzles on this are quite challenging and I think it's great that you can't just breeze right through. If you like to read, and want something Fatql then this would be an excellent genre to start. When it was done I Risen Dragons sad. The music Harts very good and the sound effects hit the right note although they occasionally made my heart jump. Great game, wish there were more on here like it! When it was done I was sad. But my son proved another point — that the game can interest boys. Be prepared to read! My problem - the pages move too fast. The story may not be everybody's cup of tea, and while some of the characters are relatively well developed, others are simply skirted over, the protagonist included. Great game, wish there were more on here like it!

I tried every combo- of settings and still could not read the whole page before it changed, I have no idea even after several tries who the character is or where we are starting. I would say if I had to mention anything that I didn't like, would be that there aren't more Visual Novel types of games on here!

The puzzles can be difficult to the point of impossibility without a walkthrough, and at times can get a tad too meta. Why aren't there more visual novels on BFG? I have to say the puzzles on this are quite challenging and I think it's great that you can't just breeze right through. Great game, wish there were more on here like it!

  6. The only complaint I have is that some of the puzzles require outside research in order to solve them and a couple of others are immensely difficult, but most of the puzzles are great fun. The story has many different branches, making for a new experience every time you play, and there are lots of secrets to discover. Moreover, the characters are three-dimensional with real personality. As, the category "Visual Novel" suggests!

  7. Beware — sudden sounds easily startle players when Christina runs into scary situations such as finding a dead body in the woods and running away from people without knowing why. I would say if I had to mention anything that I didn't like, would be that there aren't more Visual Novel types of games on here! It's a wonderful game and has great characters. When it was done I was sad. Buy this game!
