Dead Reckoning: Snowbirds Creek Collectors Edition

The small town of Snowbird’s Creek is famous for being a historical Klondike Gold Rush town, but now the town is divided on the new railway project that could make or break their little community. When the project threatens to close down for good, the workers go on strike, until the out-of-town railroad tycoon spearheading the project is found murdered. The suspects start piling up, but you must determine who really killed Seth Savage. Search the town and interrogate suspects with evidence to find the truth in this intriguing hidden-object puzzle adventure!

First, there is a total of only 13 HO scenes in the game with M-3 option vs. The scenes have a nice design with the items easy to locate and no eye problems afterwards. However, most of them were excellent and not the type where you toggle switches. The CE package is very good with collectibles, morphing objects, achievements, a strategy guide, bonus chapter, souvenir room, other goodies and the ability to replay the HOPs and mini-games. As I mentioned earlier I loved this game and am now looking forward to the next offering from this team. There was no new ground broken with either, but they are on a level with most other similar games in other words fairly easy. The information for completing the puzzles was clear so at least when I was stuck I had a good idea where to begin. This is the basis for the genre and it is not often that we see something different. I did not like having this extra help as it changed this aspect of play to a simple exercise in mouse moving. Lovely graphics, interesting theme. Please try the demo to see if this is a game you will enjoy. There is nothing Mad Mouse to say I love hidden object for sure. Anyway, it is so colorful and flows so well that time went by while I was not paying attention, which is Dead Reckoning: Snowbirds Creek Collectors Edition when I need something Sparkle Unleashed keep me from being bored. It is Collecctors that Eipix still delivers some amazing sights in this game — many of the scenes were honestly stunning and the cutscenes were extremely impressive. But overall, the visuals are just great and you will enjoy exploring the frozen village and its surroundings. The main game itself is fairly long and the story held my interest despite the items described above. As I mentioned earlier I loved this game and am now looking forward to the next offering from this team. Not too challenging, but definitely entertaining.

Some reviewers complained that the HOPs were not very challenging, but I rather like that: I want to have to look a bit, but not to the point that I feel like shoving my fist through the monitor in frustration because I can't find the stupid thing they want me to click on. I was pleasantly surprised after reading many so-so reviews. However, at least it was less of the same old, same old though of course there is some of that too. There is certainly a lot to do in each location and some of the tasks are actually quite clever, the level of challenge is also reasonable. I did find one problem with the sounds however. However, I loved this game and at least for me, it is one of the best in the Creekk Reckoning series. It might not be Hometown Poker Hero, and definitely not as exceptional as the original game in the series - but it achieves what it came to do, which is to entertain. It might not be groundbreaking, and definitely not as exceptional as the original game in the series - but it achieves what it came to do, which is to entertain. There is certainly a lot to do in each location and some of the tasks are actually quite clever, the level of challenge is also reasonable. If you missed any morphs you can get them in the replay. Voices are pretty well acted, and the dialog was neither too little nor too much. The information for completing the puzzles was clear so at least when I was stuck I had a good idea where to begin.

  3. Please try the demo to see if this is a game you will enjoy. However, we thought some of the colors were a little garish, too bright perhaps. The storyline was a refreshing change from the weird fantasy type games. The storyline is excellent and consistent without a lot of jumping all over the place so it is fairly easy to follow. In addressing the sameness of most HOPA games, the format is that we look for objects, use those objects, play a mini-game and follow a storyline.

There are also morphing objects but they tend to morph relatively fast, so always be on the lookout for them!

This developer is one of my favorites and almost always presents an excellent, well put together HOPA game.
