I don't usually write reviews but I had to comment about this game. Some of these levels are very difficult! After most games you have a scene where you are required to place an object in the scene in order to advance the story. I've played this game several times and still enjoy replaying it. Some took me 30 plus attempts in order to score high enough. Nevertheless, there is a lot of innovation occurring in this game which makes it very different. I would even say that these bonuses are enough to be a standalone game. Saddened Westward III: Gold Rush it quit on me. I played the "Adventure" mode and got to the end. Too bad, because the basic game, while short, is really superior in the artwork and story. Most of it has already been said - but I love it!

The Challenge boards are very interesting too. You can't go wrong with this one. Some took me 30 plus attempts in order to score high enough. There are forty levels in this mode, each one having a different challenge. Kids and adults should enjoy this game, and even though it is short, there are hours of play with all the variations. Skipping that, I liked it.

Alawar always gives good value for the money but I often have to turn the music off or down as it's obviously the game developer's taste and will not necessarily appeal to a broad range of people.
