At one point in the game, I actually jumped because I was startled by an action in this game. It may be the fact that I'm very close to my brother so saving my brother in this game felt like something I would absolutely do no matter the danger.

  1. It is assumed, there is still toxicity, so we wear protection gear. Find out in this incredible thriller that will make you jump out of your seat!!! I liked the story. This time we go to Ambrose Island, a forsaken place. The bonus chapter was a decent prequel-like addition and took us another 40 minutes.

  2. Its not like they are too hard, but there are a lot of variables to finally get to the end. You'll appreciate the amazing visuals; all the scenes are sharply rendered and look nothing short of stunning. I had an awesome time playing this 4 hour sci-fi adventure and another hour with the bonus chapter.

  3. Overall, its definitely worth investing in this game as it has everything that we want - good graphics, enough of a challenge to want to keep playing, terrific HOPs and mini-games - yep very happy. The beacon was activated, so somebody must have done it. Here's a recap of my review, to help you decide which version, if either, is right for you: Three years ago, there was an accident at the Corp Tex facility on Ambrose Island, rendering the environment extremely toxic. Shadowplay: The Forsaken Island is an unbalanced mix of horror and Sci-Fi, although it is still an entertaining and eye-catching adventure. It is assumed, there is still toxicity, so we wear protection gear.

  4. The HOS were varied and fun. Could the beacon be an experimental device causing this contamination? What a great little game.

  5. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by rainworm from The Shadows are Alive After the first Shadowplay, a psychological thriller, starting at an asylum, the second one was more of an adventure game, spiced with a touch of supernatural. The attacker, a creature, not sure yet, what it is. Bonus game was good, too. Have you been deceived by a hidden agenda?

  6. Mostly this game is notable as being better than other current offerings from Mad Head. And somehow the price of the SE seems more reasonable than that of the CE. Yes, I highly recommend this game and will tell you honestly the game gets better after the demo, unlike many games that fizzle out this one is just as good if not better after the demo. The dialogue is not filled with mistakes and it looks like someone took the time to make sure that the final product was worthwhile. Another thing that Mad Head Games always excels at is the production.

  7. Great games, highly interactive hidden object scenes and a storyline that stayed throughout the whole game, you actually learned a little bit more and more as you played the game which kept me involved. Some were extremely simple while others took some concentration just to figure out what to do. Everything about this game is perfect for me with realistic characters and dialogue. Cons: fairly short game, puzzle difficulty with one exception is only intermediate and not adjustable.

  8. Here's a recap of my review, to help you decide which version, if either, is right for you: Three years ago, there was an accident at the Corp Tex facility on Ambrose Island, rendering the environment extremely toxic. There have been so many disappointing HOPA CE games since mid and it is refreshing to see a game that is actually excellent in so many ways. We loved all aspects of the visuals, especially the realistic locations, the stunning scene designs, and the grade-A special effects.

  9. I will even go as far as to say that this game has by far, the best cliffhanger demo ending, an ending that leaves you hanging, an ending that entices you to click the "buy now" icon as fast as you can. Contained several types of puzzles, but none were too hard, which is what I prefer. Another thing that Mad Head Games always excels at is the production.

  10. The map was my friend. But our mission is still dangerous, we need to stick together. Have you been deceived by a hidden agenda? The CE bling is fairly standard with nothing outstanding in the package.

  11. I found the storyline different thankfully and, not only is it good, it is well-told. At the CorpTex facility building, one of us is attacked, he is dead. I have not bought a game in a long time so this is going to be a blast for me. You are moment from parachuting to the site.

  12. Better question is, who or what is the survivor!? Good stuff: Great artwork, a variety of HOPs with a morphing object in each one, mini-games and puzzles, and an interesting story. I highly recommend it! There have been so many disappointing HOPA CE games since mid and it is refreshing to see a game that is actually excellent in so many ways.

  13. This to me was more of a male part, but the designers chose a lady, so I got my high heels on and played away. I'm not a fan of HOS but I enjoyed these. A little more detail on the villains might have been nice.
