[Note: If you own the original Syberia, this is the same adventure.] Continue the journey in Syberia: Part 2. Kate Walker is in search of the last remaining heir of a manufacturing estate, Hans Voralberg, who has mysteriously disappeared into the wilds of Syberia! Kate is unsure whether to continue her journey which has taken her so far away from home, but the experience is bringing out an adventurous spirit within her that she never realized she had. Follow the trail to Barrockstadt and get closer to solving the mystery.
Walk up to the other end of the platform and examine the gate. Starting off shortly after the events of the first game when Kate decided to leave Aralbad with Hans, the train has arrived in Romansburg, a remote town near the frozen waste. Run south to the end of the train and get the oil dispenser on the floor. It is used on the penguin nest on the iceberg. All non-document items are added to this section of the inventory when Kate picks them up. Select the Load Game button and then click the thumbnail image of the game you would like to load. Bring up the phone by pressing ESC or right clicking and then select the cell phone. It is still the game I compare all others too as far as enjoyment. It is automatically put on the platform outside the house. He staggers over the railing and falls into a bin. Go back past his makeshift cylinder-home and take the stairs leading upwards. The fifth coin is used on the left candy machine and the second coin is used on the middle candy machine. Use the fishing rod at the side of the platform.
Run north twice. Examine the wall. Pull the lever to raise the bar on the platform. It is not used. The fifth coin is used on the left candy machine and the second coin is used on the middle candy machine. Pull the rope to attach it to the hook. Get the ivory hook. Take it back to the control panel and press the button second from left. Use the ornate key on the lock and continue east into the room. Run north one screen and then walk up the steps. Use the rope with plate on the tree at the left side of the bridge to swing to the other side. Walk west one screen to see two posters on the fence. Cross over the bridge below the train track and then run north three screens to enter the cave. It is a very challenging game to say the least.
Open the rectangular panel on the bottom right of the controls. Pull the lever and a section of the track will flip over to reveal a gangcar. Climb up the ladder and get the winter clothes. It is used on the slot on the bird carving. Return to the lower level. Run north three screens to the gate. Walk one screen and then run east to the coal dispenser. Examine Oscar to see his heart. Syberia is one of the few and though it came out nearly 10 years ago, it has lost none of it's magical vibe. Look closely at the shelving and pick up the strange looking spark plug. Yes, it is strickly adventure and yes the graphics could be considered out dated and yes, BFG is now re-packaging it in parts whereas the original was two games. Walk south and board the control area. Cross over the bridge and run south down the path to see the monastery high above. Examine the box. Exit the view.
