I highly recommend it. It's all elaborate, beautiful and suitably spooky. The story is solid, and well-developed. Also all the various letters that are found throughout the theatre - they can be so much more if the writers spend some time actually penning these letters and showing the player actual letters rather than a line of summary of what the letter is about. The HOS were fragment scenes and challenging but not impossible. Many HOG scenes - but that didn't put me off. It was spooky and scary The Trials of Olympus fun!

No there are not a lot of challenging puzzles, but I really did not mind that because sometimes games can go overboard with those and make them so hard I want to pull out my hair. It's a strong tale of love, betrayal and murder that unfolds in a logical sense. This game has a few genuinely scary moments as well - a leaping ghost at one scene and random intrusions by a mad man - but then again I am quite a scaredy-cat despite my love for spooky HOGs! It's all elaborate, beautiful and suitably spooky. My nitpicks for the game: A poorly-developed journal. Completed inventory items, on the whole, are all VERY pretty - organ keys, crystal balls, black lockets, intricately designed keys, and so on. I like the few extra puzzles different than those to the game offered as well. Unusually, the characters have depth and you care about what happens to them--you get emotionally involved as the story proceeds. Welcome to the Nightingale Theater.
