A familiar story and cast of evil characters, but with enough of a twist to keep things interesting. As always, play the demo and decide for yourself. Since there was a fantastic sale today, I decided to pick up the CE of this game, having been intrigued by the storyline. Every environment was immersive as if I was really there. The puzzle involves moving tiles to find certain symbols that are hidden under several tiles. And someone is whispering to the player in the background. Rated 5 out of 5 by CourageAngel from Uncover the Secret of the Curse You go searching for an artifact, only to have the guy rowing the boat disappear. Cons: not a lot. It's a journey into the dark world of angry ghosts, trapped spirits, ancestral mysteries, hidden relics. Nice and dark atmosphere, mysterious characters. Just an all around awesome game. With only 2 characters in the demo, not much to describe. From now on, I'll be playing all games with headphones, and I recommend that you do too.
I decided to try once more, and what a good job I did!! There were some puzzles that were, on average, pretty easy to figure out. It's a totally different experience. Review based on completed game. Maybe even an underwater flashlight?? I really enjoyed playing it. The SE has 3 levels, trophies a fun "extra" and aside from that, no bells or whistles. Are the sequels as great as the original, in this Series? In Mournful Loch you play an archaeology student who has been researching a lost artifact of the Logan family. In HO scenes, you can switch to Match-3 instead. If someone has Mournful Loch is very intriguing with great everything which I'm not going to list over and over--ambiance, music, story, puzzles. I usually skip the puzzles as I can't be bothered with them; I want to get on with the game but some did get me engaged. The interactive map is very useful as a travel time-saver and, although the game play most often makes movement logical, it's also useful for those moments when you're befuddled.
The graphics, sounds and voice-overs are excellent, as is usual with Eipix games. Date published: Rated 4 out of 5 by MsPeanut from interesting, unusual story was a little too graphic and disturbing for me. Adventure is good, with only a couple times I was unsure where to go next. You are stranded on an island and you have to figure out the usual hidden clues to stop an ancient curse. Climax was not very climactic but enough threads were unraveled to make it satisfying. The Best Game I have Ever played for many reasons! I'm really enjoying this game. Oh well, at least the developer tried for some verisimilitude. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by khendrick1 from Another great Phantasmat game! I'd tried to play this game before, but had always lost interest. By the time I got beyond the castle doors, I was just plain tired of all the locks and gadgets and tasks blocking my way. Presentations included all morphing objects which I love , find and replace storybook, silhouettes, patterns to match, related pairs, matching pairs, and all of one type.

Christmas Tales: Fellinas Journey have a spooky castle, a possessed family, an ancestral murder Maze: Nightmare Realm Collectors Edition three, plenty of play, plenty of puzzles. So, have downloaded the demo like most of you and feel I'm playing it for the first time. So, if you are in the mood for a nice ghost story, pick up this one. In Mournful Loch you play an archaeology student who has been researching a lost artifact of the Logan family. Shortly after, you're in the water and later washed up near the Logan family's castle. I have bought and played almost all of the hidden object games in the past 5 years and this is still my favorite! For the money I Phantasmat: Mournful Loch Collectors Edition have liked to have a little more game. No, it's not like the original Phantasmat. They become harder as the game progresses, for the most part. Puzzles seem to be the forte for this developer and the ones in this game are excellent. I am also enjoying the mini-games and HOS. I beta tested the game, but forgot to write on my paper what I thought of it. Very spooky atmosphere. As always try the demo I think it took me about 30 minutes to complete.
God Bless I thought it was fun. Is it worth a CE? For the money I would have liked to have a little more game. There is one tricky puzzle that I have never seen before and it is truly genius. They become harder as the game progresses, for the most part. I decided to try once more, and what a good job I did!! Less is more and often times, more than not, lengthy reviews will give away game details that should be enjoyed by the player! Not long after that your boat capsizes and you awaken on the shore of the loch. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by khendrick1 from Another great Phantasmat game! Eipix is generally great anyway. I really enjoyed playing it.
Everything felt Defense of Greece and logical, except for the very end. The graphics were kind of disappointing, they were all dark and dismal. Can't imagine it failing to be a winner like the previous editions. There are some very creepy scenes, particularly one with discarded dolls. Gaining entry was tiresome. It's a journey into the Lch world of angry ghosts, trapped spirits, ancestral mysteries, hidden relics. If I was really fond of the underlying Phantasmat theme I might be inclined to purchase the game but the overall graphics are what put me off the most. God Bless
