Yes, there were some HOPS that were better than others and at least passable but nothing on the scale of the excellent HOPS created by this developer in years past. Again, some have a familiar flare, particularly in the computer screen HOP where a computer generated voice tells a story one sentence at a time, and you must find the computer generated sketches representing the Keywords in the sentences. Eipix announces this is the last game in the Dead Reckoning series and I am somewhat sad to see it go. I thought the whole game was extremely intriguing; it was if the four-hour gameplay felt more like two hours. You can use the rusty chain off the bike to fix the broken bridge between the administration building and the frat and sorority houses to further your investigation. As for the puzzles, they are well-integrated into Dead Reckoning: Lethal Knowledge storyline and offer moderate difficulty. It has collectables and of course morphing objects in the hidden object scenes and I even enjoyed the music, though for the most part I usually play without it. Not horrible, but not that much fun either. There seemed to be a lot of repeated minis. It is fun.

Since I'm not the patient kind to spend time on the HOPs I really liked the new version of their bubble shooter, sharp and comfortable University is not just about science, the students and their age occasionally bring up some problems. I think they must, because it looks to me like Eipix has tried to duplicate the font and style of one of my favorite devs not sure I'm allowed to mention which rival it is I don't remember this particular style being used by Eipix before. Give the demo a shot. Maybe those gamers who are a lot smarter than me will be able to understand how to solve some of the puzzles because I was at a loss and ended up using the skip button. The dead reckoning series has long been one of my favorites. Miss Douglas, the author of the Dead Reckoning novels, has been awarded the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award for her literary contributions. At least it was a worthy good-bye party, ehm, case, ehm, game. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, it's one of the things I love about the other dev, the clean sharp lines, Adera Dead Reckoning: Lethal Knowledge, and the use of modern technology! I want them to know that we "see" the change, even though they are are just small changes, and appreciate their effort! Date published: The voice overs are very good and the atmosphere is just what I'd expect from this developer. Everyone I know uses a smartphone or tablet. This series is all about solving a mystery or two. In the end, because I think this developer is selling out to those who want difficult games at the expense of those who prefer entertainment value, I am only giving the game 3 stars. Let's go on like this folks! I was hooked on it from the beginning and with the twists that came along the ending was rather a surprise. A shout-out for the sound team, they did a fantastic job! No witch, no castle ,no invisible dimension , but an investigation first about a murder , then the plot thickens while exploring a university with well chosen musics as companions and interacting with other characters which are almost all suspects. These scenes are all expertly-designed with multiple layers and interesting interactions.

The story was a sequel to the main game. As usual for an Eipix product, the graphics, music, sounds, and voice-over narratives are all well done. Other than that, the game is good, but could have been epic. This newest addition to the series shows that Eipix has taken a fresh look and added some new elements that make it even more enjoyable. Everything thing was modern day including the pad used for collecting information and holding the map and applications. The only interesting game was the pinball game. The characters are believable, and the story is good. I'll admit that I jumped a time or two because I wasn't expecting something to happen. This series is all about solving a mystery or two. Others will go into detail about the story itself, so I'll just say it was really good. I do recommend the game The advanced touchscreen tablet feature serves as a nice addition, and a modern device. 1. Let's go on like this folks! New puzzle - find the evidence. One person's voice did kinda grate on me a bit however. Yes, there were maybe one or two terrific puzzles that I could actually understand and figure out but the rest certainly left a lot to be desired.

  2. Need to take a picture or reference information? In my opinion, Eipix has evolved a teeny tiny bit! Since the bridge did not break till after the Prof.

  3. If you like games with lots of achievements, collectibles, souvenirs and other things to find, and don't find them a distraction, then I think you'd love this one.. With the exception of a couple of the games in this series, it has been better than average throughout. I had a devil of a time with understanding the mini games.

  4. But you do hang glide down with him and reach the prestigious school. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by jinocchio49 from Murder on Campus! At this point you may have deduced that I am less than impressed with the logic behind this mystery story. I think they must, because it looks to me like Eipix has tried to duplicate the font and style of one of my favorite devs not sure I'm allowed to mention which rival it is I don't remember this particular style being used by Eipix before.

  5. They were relatively simple, but I did have to use the hint a couple times. Graphics were well done. The HO sequences and mini-games, with one or two minor exceptions, were no different than any seen in other Eipix products. I think if you like a good old fashion murder mystery, you will enjoy this game. I have several of the Dead Reckoning series of games and, while Lethal Knowledge is far from being one of the best, this game is not quite as bad as some other reviewers have written.

  6. I would do something and then another screen would pop up with the same puzzle on it just more advanced. Storyline throughout. They were able to take a dated series I reckon I should say dead series and modernize it to be relevant with just a few tweaks. As always, I recommend that you try the demo to see if this will be a game you will enjoy because Dead Reckoning Lethal Knowledge might be just right for you. With the exception of a couple of the games in this series, it has been better than average throughout.

  7. I was hooked on it from the beginning and with the twists that came along the ending was rather a surprise. As usual for an Eipix product, the graphics, music, sounds, and voice-over narratives are all well done. I've played the game several times including the bonus game and really enjoyed the puzzles and storyline. Only thing I didn't like is that it always said "mystery not solved do you really want to quit" even after I'd completed the bonus game. Connect the dots!?

  8. The plot was well done and a refreshing departure from fantasy love stories and haunted houses. Bradley hid a small chest for you to find amulets to open compartments on. Not too difficult, not too easy. I recommend all the Dead Reckoning Series.

  9. Perhaps it is time to retire it. Colors were excellent and realistic. I was completely drawn to the storyline right from the opening sequence and never felt bored throughout the duration of the game. The artwork is beautiful and crisp.

  10. Bradley hid a small chest for you to find amulets to open compartments on. Should I say the game seemed to me a wee bit short? I thought the whole game was extremely intriguing; it was if the four-hour gameplay felt more like two hours. Congratulations Ms. Eipix did an amazing job bringing the hi-tech university to life.
