You have to save someone, but other than that I didn't find it a repeat of the others. Personally, I didn't hate this game, it was exactly as I suspected, a take-it-or-leave-it kinda game. I do enjoy puzzles but when they become the game that is where I begin to lose my interest. In any case, I enjoyed this game very much; I like fantasy games. This developer stepped up to bring us a game that we can enjoy viewing and with crafting that made me want to see more. Gameplay is not difficult and is a nice interlude between grey-matter heavy more intense games. I didn't skip any of the mini-games or conversation dialogs, nor did I skip through the cutscenes, and of course I wrote notes. God Bless and Merry Christmas to all. The sound track is good and Sparkle 2 found that there was only one scene that had howling wolves. Spirits of Mystery: Whisper of the Past delivers in terms of its production, although not the best we have seen from this developer. There aren't a lot of Hidden Object Scenes in either the main or the CE bonus chapter, this is definitely Nightfall Mysteries: Asylum Conspiracy puzzle-heavy game. Although there is nothing really new, I still have enjoyed the game. Puzzles cut into my enjoyment of a good storyline and quite frankly, I am becoming very tired of playing a HO game to find that they are Treasures of Persia becoming puzzle games. That being said, I hope you will enjoy the game as much as I do.

  3. Yes, we have the same evil entities trying to make trouble for the Kingdoms but in many ways this is a much milder game that I could play instead of a game that was becoming quite violent in its storylines. The scene designs remain pretty basic, but with enough interesting details to keep me captivated. A disappointment for me is that the game did not have as many HOPS as I would like but the ones that were in the game were excellent. Along with another Amax game, we are treated to another Gadget!

  9. Then it's 30 years later and you're the daughter of the one who got pulled away who is now the queen and you have to go rescue her, which is why you need to rescue your sister who is the other little girl who is also now all grown up. Where did she get the sword? You still have to find some shaped keys to get the wolf statue to drop the door key, because doesn't everybody lock themselves inside the house and then lock up the key with yet more keys which you have to find before you can get the key to unlock the key to unlock the front door?

  10. The storyline is not necessarily groundbreaking, but it is certainly more focused than the series has ever been in quite some time.
