Young police detective, Emily Meyer, is assigned to solve a serial killer case "The Guilty Man" when a mysterious woman calls stating that she knows the identity of the killer. Follow Emily on her quest to trace the mysterious woman, elude death and ultimatly catch the killer in Ghost Files: The Face of Guilt.

This is a good whodunit for murder mystery buffs and wannabe detectives. Graphics: Beautifully done. The mini-games are fun to do. The hidden object games are slightly interactive straightforward and silhouette which have morphing objects in them as well. I do want to suggest that you take the tutorial on the forensic kit. It added to the spookiness of the game. When your partner in crime alerts you that he is leaving for vacation, it is up to you to solve this case on your own. You play a detective with your own forensic kit to collect and analyze blood samples and fingerprints. In this case, you may want to take any help you can get! There is a fingerprint puzzle in which you pass a magnifying glass over a fingerprint to locate five identifiers. Remarkable experience! H0GS: Find one or two objects to use on items in the scene, list of words with green words for extra steps and silhouettes. The pace is just Virtual Villagers Origins 2 for me and even though it's set up so you really can't fail, the challenge is there as the excitement builds through the music. And I enjoyed the way the story writer included lots of secret locks and hiding places. All up the Bluebeards Castle: Son of the Heartless and bonus took me about 6 hours to play and I enjoyed every minute, so well done Boris and the team. This is a definite buy for me!

Other puzzles include a chess puzzle involving a knight, another lock puzzle using a numbered code, and two matching puzzles. I love the story and the gameplay. Items are clear to see and find and each one only takes a couple of minutes. The game managed to keep us on the edge of our seats all the way through. Search for symbols within scenes of the book. The VO's are superb even the main character has a voice and so is the actual game play.

Everywhere is kind of gritty and dirty - just like a cop show, which is based in Boston. I like the HOG, the timeline, the music make you feel more suspence even when I though she is investigating and the serial killer is not around. It did confuse me on what you had to do. The story line is cohesive and captivating, the HOS and puzzles have just the right amount of challenge for me, anyway This is not a short game, so don't be deceived by the few chapters Further, the orchestral soundtracks are always intriguing and not at all distracting. I love the story and the gameplay.

I'm not sure if that's the final outcome, but that just adds to the need to see how it ends. Sound is good and the music is orchestral and piano. Interesting HO and mini games.

  4. Great mystery case just waiting to be solved. There are plenty of activities and puzzles within the game. To me this is above a five star game.
