Night Mysteries: The Amphora Prisoner

Natalie Cole, a young writer, is late to board the ship that was to take her home to America. Already depressed by a chain of misfortunes, Natalie becomes absolutely despondent. Just when she is about to give up hope of getting home, she meets a captain at the port who is sailing a cargo ship to her very same destination, and he invites her to sail along with him and his crew. Natalie, relieved at her good fortune, agrees. Little does she know, this random stroke of good luck hasn't come without a price. Natalie has unwittingly embarked on a dangerous and exciting journey where she must prevent ancient evil from awakening inside a mysterious antique collection on board the cargo ship! Can Natalie save the crew and its captain from evil spirits and still return home?

I recommend. Although the intro could have been shorter. I really know this Overall, the difficult HO scenes made the game worth playing for me, but the lack of an interactive map showing you where you needed to go next was extremely irritating. Nothing is hidden, but items are very well concealed, and I like that challenge. I liked the adventure part of this game. For example, in the engine room casual mode , you can find out what needs gumboots In some places it is grim, but the storyline requires it. They have some unexpected ideas. One of the strengths of this game is puzzles. There doesn't seem to be any alternative. In real life, I would broke a suitcase with a hammer! HOS: 5 of 5 About the puzzle I have to be discussed separately.

If you are a woman and you're looking for a companion for traveling on a ship, this game is definitely for you! Also, I had to rely heavily on the hint button for guidance, which I do not like to have to do. I recommend this game! The game is not long and I found myself wanting to continue longer. Although the intro could have been shorter. You're a female and the captain and other hands have welcomed you aboard, however, something is terribly wrong. Mysteriess: too have seizures. Wholeheartedly recommend! One of the strengths of this game is puzzles. And I think it is due to a wonderful story line The Enthralling Realms: Curse of Darkness 3D-cutscenes. It would not allow you to jump from area to another or tell you where there were actions you needed to accomplish. The game is not difficult, I think it is perfect for beginners. You can switch the difficulty of the game in the options. The HO scenes were Tue challenging - I admit I used the hint button more than once!

The story line is okay. You need 33 pearls to complete the game so make sure you are looking out for them from the beginning of the game. All puzzles are made with love and the developers have worked very well here. The graphics is clear. Knowing it's a game, I still was rather frightened to look around every corner while investigating the ship, mostly as I usually play at night, in the dark, alone, boo! I recommend this game! I bought it. I liked having the 33 white balls that you have to find being in the inventory list so you can see what you have found and what you need to find right in eye site. You spend a lot of time clicking through scenes to go back and forth from one location to another. You'll find them in the main menu. To perform the ritual, you must have 33 blue pearls they looked white to me , which are scattered all over the ship. What is you're not quick enough with a mouse to overcome the obstacles? The game is not long and I found myself wanting to continue longer.

Puzzles are pretty good. Perhaps Super Granny 6 graphics are a bit outdated, but when you play this game, you have stopped paying attention to it. The hint is extremely helpful and fills up quickly. They have some unexpected ideas. This game is a little sad, and sometimes scary. But it's really great. There is one point at which you die.

I recommend. I especially liked the idea with dragonfly : You have to try it! Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by PeterGreco from "Sometimes it is better to wait for the next voyage, than to find a fellow traveler. For example, in one game, in order to open the suitcase, I spent an hour looking for the key, even though I had a hammer in your inventory. This scene keeps repeating itself until you figure out what you need to do to ward off the evil spirits. As in most HO games, there is a bit of running back and forth through areas, however the number of areas is relatively small. The game was challenging enough to keep me interested. In spite of not being too impressed at the beginning, it didn't take long before I was totally immersed in it and ended up liking it a lot! I inadvertently obtained objects through haphazardly clicking around a room. The HO scenes were very challenging - I admit I used the hint button more than once! The game is not long and I found myself wanting to continue longer. Besides intro reveals the storyline pretty well. If you are tired of HOPA with cloned storylines, this game is for you. You can switch the difficulty of the game in the options. The game is really very much like a classic adventure game.

As in most HO games, there is a bit of running back and forth through areas, however the number of areas is relatively small. I recommend. For example, in one game, in order to open the suitcase, I spent an hour looking for the key, even though I had a hammer in your inventory. I inadvertently obtained objects through haphazardly clicking around a room. The objects to find in a scene sometimes sparkle, and the help button does work when stuck. The game is not difficult, I think it is perfect for beginners. In this game there is no such nonsense, and I'm glad. One example is a water valve puzzle that the valves turn on and off leaks, but a valve can be found to shut off a single leak last. The game was challenging enough to keep me interested. In general in this game there are NO stupid and illogical quests and puzzles. Rated 5 out of 5 by NANA5LOVE from I actually liked the game I was surprised that I actually liked this game, it is an at your own pace game that you need to figure out on your own what is going on, it does not hand hold but does give you help if you need it. It's excellent! Oops, I think it's already too much : Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by ImSmallGreenFish from Nice game in the old school style If you like the adventure in the style of the old school, you'll like it. Perhaps, some of the players may lull : Quests in the game are great too.

Several times I switched the difficulty and noticed that this changes the messages in the game! I bought it. Perhaps the graphics are a bit outdated, but when you play this game, you have stopped paying attention to it.

Although someone may seem puzzles too hard, and someone - too simple. Date published: I inadvertently obtained objects through haphazardly clicking around a room.

  3. Loved this game. Overall, the difficult HO scenes made the game worth playing for me, but the lack of an interactive map showing you where you needed to go next was extremely irritating. You awaken in the middle of the night aboard a ship upon which you've stowed.

  4. I bought it. You are in one location for the whole game but you search several rooms on the ship throughout the game. Full feeling of being on board a ship. There are a couple of other scenes that you can't skip, such as the rat invasion and steering through the icebergs.
