The keys each have 2 ends that can possibly fit in the keyhole. Sometimes got stuck and had to search around to find where to go next but all in all a good play. This is a keeper. Your Goal is to free Thomas Hood from the Castle's jail and to capture Prince John so you can return the town's tax money. I know a lot of people will like this game and maybe it's just my mood, but I wasn't thrilled by it. The graphics are excellent! The Town's Archery Competitions are optional mini-games to test your skills with a bow and arrow. You are pretty much told what to do every step of the way on casual mode. Although I think they should fix that. The designers certainly didn't seem to have much if any. Gamehouse should offer more games like this one!

I don't remember spending money on anything in the game. Little John is probably Robin Hood's most useful friend. The background sounds changed with each locale and matched perfectly. The Jolly Gangs Spooky Adventure work GameHouse! The Bprn was fun, the characters were interesting, the challenge was excellent. It was good fun seeing what characters you were going to get next and what special skills they had. Highly recommended. Although never vocal, they were critics of Prince John and his heavy taxation. Enter them if you'd like a quick break from Quests. There is also quite a bit of humour in it which I really liked.


If you choose the wrong one, you will get a red circle with a diagonal line through it and will need to choose again. There were some interesting variations on the old mini puzzles, and some new ones, which were a real breath of fresh air. The story was fun, the characters were interesting, the challenge was excellent. What really makes the game stand out are the hilarious accents and conversations, and the thematic scenes and puzzles which make it much more immersive than the average HOG. Oh and I liked the target shooting tournaments as well. Screenshot Castle Hallway There are 2 talking guards in the way of the front door so you need to get them out of the way. It's possibly only the Brits that would notice that they were a bit on the iffy side! They had Robin, be a girl. I enjoyed the humor and all the characters. I think a bit of every nationality on earth was chucked in there somewhere and it had me giggling through most of it, but at least they tried and it was all part of the fun. Also in my opinion a little thinky on how to use the inventory items for me anyway. Town Center. Music Use Alan-A-Dale's music to distract or lull overworked people to sleep. It makes you want to stay until the end and I did. The puzzles are easy and the HO puzzles are terrific! The story was fun, the characters were interesting, the challenge was excellent. Oh and I liked the target shooting tournaments as well. She will join The Merry Men before you go to the Castle. You can access the opposite end by clicking the key when you have picked it up. I especially liked the fact that throughout the game, the character picks up new abilities and can therefore perform certain tasks in each scene. Sherwood Forest Talk to Johnny Goodshot who offers to teach you how to shoot a bow so when you take him up on the offer you will get the Arrow Ability. I enjoyed the graphics, the quest and the mini games. It was a fun challenge.

  1. Only things I didn't like is after I found all the posters it didn't really change anything, and I'm not sure why you are collecting money. Archery Competitions The Town Billboard has town announcements on it. Sometimes there will be items in a scene that require a Special Ability that you don't have as yet so you can wait until you have completed the game and then go back to check that all locations have been cleared and pick up any items you could not get on your first visit.

  3. Liked the challenges and archery contests. Hints can be recharged by finding fireflies which are VERY easy to find. The puzzles are easy and the HO puzzles are terrific!

  4. They vowed someday to make a difference, for the people of Nottingham and the people of England. There is also quite a bit of humour in it which I really liked. The "wanted posters" and "pardon papers" aren't always so easy to locate. This is the only game I have rated 5-stars so far. Be careful when using in wooded areas.

  6. Strength With the help of Little John you can lift or move heavy objects using his bow-staff for leverage. Thumbs way WAY up!! Over all nice game. All in all, a very enjoyable, if slightly barmy game. It is still a nice game though, so I recommend it.

  7. People usually do whatever Friar Tuck asks. HOs are blended in very well with the surroundings but not so well hidden that you pull your hair out trying to find them. This is the only game I have rated 5-stars so far. Providing an "All Clear" in each scene kept me from continuing to look in a scene area that was done, or worse, wandering around in circles - Many thanks.

  8. One minute we're in medieval England and the next on an 18th century ship, and I'm not even going ask where the boomerang came from! Sometimes got stuck and had to search around to find where to go next but all in all a good play. As far as hints you're allowed to have 5 at a time and how you get those is you have to catch "fireflies" they're called; the little blue circles that come up on the screen. If you don't like you how you are doing, you can restart the competition and you can also reject your award at the end and try again.

  10. The graphics are excellent! The puzzles and HO scenes were perfect for a family game as some parts were tricky while others were simple. I just liked this game though, it was very nice and cute but it just didn't excite me like some others have. Other than that, it is totally recommendable. There is also quite a bit of humour in it which I really liked.

Not only are you doing HOG scenes finding objects to locate inventory items to use in the scenes of the game to move forward but you are also removing 62 "wanted posters" since Robin has escaped from jail along with finding "pardon papers" as you will be meeting Merrymen along the way and they can't help you with their "special abilities" to move forward in the game until you locate them as it will tell you how many you need to locate for each one before they can help you. Screenshot Use the Bone to get the Cane which you will use to get the Keys. The mini games were interwoven into the story line. No timer in either. For me, this was the absolute perfect game.

It's a very original take on the Robin Hood tale, mostly because this Robin Hood is a woman, but it did work well. Charm Little Maid Marion's irresistible charm can help her get in to the most off-limit places.
