There is a lot of variety so I doubt you will become bored as you play through the game. Help the Hunter keep his family safe and track down the imposter before they can complete their dastardly plan. The extra's for the game included an obvious bonus chapter. It just makes no sense to be in these dangerous situations and throw away a useful tool after one use so there can be a quick easy reason for another puzzle to get yet another knife. Speaking of the sound this game's music is great.

However, upon your arrival you are arrested for trespassing just as your investigation begins. I bought this game and the sequel because I was curious to find out what happened to the little scarecrow. You do have HO's to play and they are well defined and there are little "find me use me" games inside of them too. Great little game! Mistaken identity happens and you wind up in jail and you have to find a way to break out, basic story so far but it gets better. There is a great story and storytelling with voiceovers using chapters through pictures. Will you be able to pull this off in time and uncover the imposter and foil their plans? Your tools include a transporter type map and a little scarecrow helper who I happen to think is quite cute. One of my all time favorite games is Stray Souls and the reason why I love that game so much is because the storyline is interesting and it feels like a very long game and worth the money! Yes, it is a bit short, but I would rather have a shorter game with good entertainment value than a game that appears longer because HO's are re-used over and over again. The Developers create these beautiful worlds and fantastical storylines but lazy writing takes the player out of the fantasy and we end up rolling our eyes in exasperation. I hate it when these games do that. You also get to choose your gender and unlike some of the games out there which ever gender you choose actually has a voice over dialog.

There is a great story and storytelling with voiceovers using chapters through pictures. For me, the cut-scenes move the story forward and build excitement, so when the quality of those are poor, games lose my interest quickly. I'm going to search for others from this developer. So this is the fourth game in the league of light series and I am delighted with the game. All and all I love the game and the series and I'm off to go buy this one ;- hope you guys enjoy it too but if you haven't played the series before I would start with the first one Dark Omens. There was one part of the game when a character was speaking and it was very light and had a echo to the voice but I wasn't sure if that was supposed to be like that because of where the character was position from you or if that was just a bad recording. A collection area this is different from the owl's that you look for , music, wallpaper, concept art, and achievements. Most important, the game isn't a mess of confusion that requires constant use of the Hint button. I guess because the production values are so good I expect the story to be the same. Our little "helper" is back, and cute as can be, although there is a lack of character development. I wouldn't mind having a longer bonus story to complete, duration-wise, but all in all, this was truly FUN and the game-play reminded me kinda of a adventure game, rather than "just" a HOG one. Really, landing a balloon on the ship and nobody notices? 2. This is one that is a definite purchase. I'm hoping this is the beginning of a move away from the "moving cut-outs" and way too many pencil drawings of recent games on BFG. It just makes no sense to be in these dangerous situations and throw away a useful tool after one use so there can be a quick easy reason for another puzzle to get yet another knife. Although I have to say the female gender's voice sounds a lot like the woman who voices Nancy in the Nancy Drew games but that could just be me.
