Yeah, the opening has been seen in other games before but it's what happens afterwards that makes this worth your time and money. Mini games challenging but fun to play. However, the main character had a different challenge in that she is very weak and needs to gain her strenght. Almost immediately, you'll notice your health is limited due to injuries incurred and will be gained back via finding energy packs in various locations similar to action games it will vary throughout the game dependent upon exertion of tasks, etc. I am more into the adventure aspect of gaming, and the storyline from waking up in the hospital to the end was exciting, easily followed, involved without a ton of reading or backstory, was logical and the music was fitting and It would have been nice to have voiceovers, but honestly didn't care by halfway through. The game play is a whole heck of a lot of fun, the puzzles are very challenging and I really liked the gritty look to the artwork. And there's still more to play. NOW I have a favourite. They were just right. I remembered how to get everywhere I needed to go. They did a very good job with this. I have a short attention span but this game kept me interested for hours and hours. I can take or leave HOP but these were well done, challenging without being frustrating, and the number of them was not intrusive. Use the middle key to switch just the 2 numbers in the red circle 3. And yeah there's "monsters" around but they don't do anything to you and they don't do too many annoying jump scares to where it becomes a bore and too expected. It doesn't give hints or let you warp to a location, so there is a lot of walking around. Maybe one or two per each town section you complete, which takes a while. The water can only flow through the valves that have a handle. Awesome job, Gunnar Games!!!! Mini games challenging but fun to play. I remembered how to get everywhere I needed to go.
