They were located in interesting locations and most were very sci-fi or bright and colorful. I found it absorbing and not bogged down by tedious chores or a lot of inventory, meaning everything I had to do made sense. The HOP's are very easy, the only time I had trouble finding an item, was due to poor graphics or items that weren't recognizable, not because they were well hidden. There is a Gadget involved, however, in my opinion, it works, and is something I could envision using in a futuristic world. For me it was a wonderful turn of events to have the puzzles take back seat to the HOPS in the game. If the game was longer the story line might have been more complete and more of those nice scene's could have been seen.

The story line was good, and the game flowed naturally. I tend to play slowly as I have to take in every detail in the scenes and it did slow tje down a bit as I was obsessive about finding the collectibles and the morphing objects. The Hidden Object Scenes are mostly Interactive List finds, the scenes Knight Solitaire 2 beautifully drawn and there are a ton of interactive items. And once you have played it, you know where everything is and how to complete the puzzles, so playing it over and over is kind of pointless. I also Monsouls: that when you get an inventory item, it tells you what it is right away. Will you save many more people than just your nephew?

Some gamers just want a game to entertain and relax. It was a short game which seems to be the growing trend. I have never become tired of the genre and Moonsouls The Lost Sanctum is one of the best and most beautiful games in recent years. Right from the beginning, I noticed the similarities between this brand-new series from Mad Head Games to another franchise from this very developer, Beyond. Rotate triangle sections to move the ball to the end without colliding with the unmovable triangle. Moonsouls: Echoes of the Past does not disappoint when it comes to length either. MHG had lost its mojo lately, but this game has renewed my faith, Sci-fi is their wheelhouse and Moonsouls is a fantastic sci-fi! I found this game intriguing in the demo, and the reviews said it got better after the demo, so I purchased it. I am no techie, and I was able to do what the game asked me to do. The music is superb, and I found myself stopping to listen more than once. Yes, it was on the short side, but I still gave it 5 stars because it was so enjoyable. Some gamers just want a game to entertain and relax. We are able to translate Alien Language with a gantlet same in Stargate - goa'uld and we have special powers. True, the mini games are easy but I did not find the hidden object scenes overtly obvious but I am a player with only intermediate skills. The voice of Uncle is more than perfect but not very good for the character Strange drawing. This review is based upon completed play of the game.

  2. The hidden object segments and the puzzles during the demo, which was quite short by the way as I finished it in 42 minutes. You have an interactive, transporter type map to help you move quickly between locales. Also, any option available to turn off ALL help is really welcome.
