He quickly and intuitively read the Guide and figured out before I got a chance to sit with him to show him how to play this - how to combine objects and made the tea in the first scene right away. Oh and not sure if I missed it in the home screen of the game or something but I went there, originally to see if there was a "Rate this App" button but there wasn't one. This adventure centres around the American author Mark Twain, who was a Mississippi river boat pilot in the s. Great graphics with some spooky scenes. The storyline was interesting and unique. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by worthy from Worth the Collection Edition Price Thoroughly enjoyed this game. This is one of the best HOA games I have ever played. A lengthy game with unusual puzzles combined with a good story line. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by Gwhen from Great way to start a HD Strategy Game I liked this -- it had more strategy than I originally planned on, but it was not too hard. The 4th one was a bit less quality than the first 3, but it was still good. The mini-puzzles were all amusing, but since there's no info about how each one works I sometimes had to crib from the in-built Strategy Guide to get me started. I really enjoyed this game. There are achievements in the game for attaining different goals. I wish I could find 10 more games like this.

The bonus game took me 45 minutes to finish. This adventure centres around the American author Mark Twain, who was a Mississippi river boat pilot in the s. There are achievements in the game for attaining different goals. His brother Henry also worked on the steamboats and died in an explosion, for which Twain felt guilty for the rest of his life. This time, you are helping Mark Twain. I certainly enjoyed it! I know my son will start a new game the instant he finishes this one. I thoroughly enjoyed this adventure, though perhaps not quite as much as their 'Houdini' game which has a gripping storyline and features characters whom I'm more informed about. It made me want to buy a book about Mark Twain. The story, music, and the graphics were all wonderful. The 4th one was a bit less quality than the first 3, but it was still good. The puzzles were creative in this game, which is hard to find after playing so many of this type. The plot and system seem really solid. The inventory items were used quickly and provided a good indication of what needed to be done next.

Based on actual events, Devil on the Mississippi, allows the player the opportunity to decide what really MAY have happened to the young brother, a riverboat captain, who died under conditions that were never clearly explained, leaving a pall over Mark's head for the remainder of his life. The only thing I would say, for both adult and children, is that the GOAL board sometimes is a little too vague. The best Midnight Mysteries yet! So maybe not. I'm not as much in to all the reading it has with the story I'm not THAT patient but the mystery is great. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by belle98 from Outstanding!!
