The main story ends a bit too quickly and leaves you speculating LandGrabbers happened to a couple of the characters. Date published: This developer's puzzles make me think, and I enjoy that. I sure got my money's worth with this one! As always, please try the demo first I would not recommend this one for kids because it's pretty intense at times. Bonfire Stories 1 Faceless Gravedigger 2. Storyline is one of the most important things to me in these games.
Colours are well defined and items you need are clear to see. There were some moments where the story takes you back to another view point from another person angle, which I thought was a nice touch. Sound is good and the music is fast and creepy. At the start of chapter 2 you get to hike through several forest scenes during a MG and it was so fun. I loved that most of the HOP's required you to enter a code you discovered, or solve a puzzle first, it was kind of like unlocking a treasure chest! It took a long time to get there. Good game, please try it. I wish Eipix would incorporate the cut scenes within the journal. Happy gaming! I adored the demo and would rate it higher if I could. As always, I recommend that you try the demo to see if this is a game you will enjoy as well. This is elementary school level gameplay and a waste of time. I loved the older games that just used computer gen graphics like the console games. Bonfire Stories 1 Faceless Gravedigger 2.
Indeed, the scenery is Mystery P.I.: The Vegas Heist aesthetically pleasing, I've already clipped one scene and set it as my desktop background. The colors are natural and I bought the CE within playing only 10 min. Happy Gaming? Happy playing fishies. The story? Quite often I'll wait to buy a CE on sale and play other games in between so it's great to have a journal that holds the story and even better when it holds the cut scenes AND the diary notes. Sound is good and the music is fast and creepy. Cutscenes were The Timebuilders: Pyramid Rising and blurry, but objects were fairly well-rendered. I honestly just started this game a few minutes ago and I just wanted Collextors say "Thank you" to Eipix for all the great references throughout to Twin Peaks, probably my all-time favorite tv series. There are no morphs in the HOPs. The hos are good but too numerous versus the mini-games. There are about three times as many mini-games as HO scenes, and the HO scenes were too easy. That gets resolved Clllectors the CE bonus play. I spent a good deal of time re-reading the journal from the start too, just so I knew exactly what was going on.
What I think is best about this series is the way Eipix integrates the HOs and puzzles into the storyline fairly seamlessly. Happy Gaming? Not much is resolved in terms of story as we are told two myths or urban legends the bonus chapter is another myth but related to the main game. I kinda even dug picking up the CE collectible trash lol. It proves we aren't all the same right? The main story ends a bit too quickly and leaves you speculating what happened to a couple of the characters. I wish Eipix would incorporate the cut scenes within the journal. I think I only used the hint button once which shows an improvement over many of the past HOS from this developer. This is elementary school level gameplay and a waste of time. There are also 38 collectibles, 19 morphs and 10 magnetic tapes to find throughout the game and bonus. This developer's puzzles make me think, and I enjoy that. Have fun! I was impressed by the creep factor without the use of pop-up ghouls to make you jump. Enigmatis The Mists of Ravenwood also played in a campground-like location 3. They were not over-the-top difficult and with a little patience I was able to solve them.
Enigmatis The Mists of Ravenwood also played in a campground-like location 3. Date published: Rated 1 out of 5 by peacelilly47 from boring!! You play as 3 different people one per chapter , but it's not like those Romance games were you switch around within a scene. Play the demo and see if this is a game for you. Indeed, the scenery is so aesthetically pleasing, I've already clipped one scene and set it as my desktop background. Happy playing fishies. Quite often I'll wait to buy a CE on sale and play other games in between so it's great to have a journal that holds the story and even better when it holds the cut scenes AND the diary notes. Go into the Collectibles box and do the puzzles to get the combinations. I am one 'happy camper'. There are no morphs in the HOPs. Its a thoroughly enjoyable game, so it went very fast and I was disappointed when it finished.
I liked playing as three different characters, as well. The music was perfect for this game but they played it way too much. The morphs, collectibles and tapes were fairly difficult to find. I think they were green cups, a rock with a red band, and lost posters. The music is perfect for this type of adventure and the characters are realistic with good voices over. I disagree, the rating is a personal preference which is why it says "I loved it, I liked it, it was okay, I disliked it, I hated it. Everything about The Fire Within is a vast improvement beginning with the lighter graphics. I kinda even dug picking up the CE collectible trash lol. There are about three times as many mini-games as HO scenes, and the HO scenes were too easy. I was impressed by the creep factor without the use of pop-up ghouls to make you jump. To be honest, I don't remember the first game from this series even though I did buy it. I just prefer a lot of environmental sounds during long stretches of gameplay. Also, Eipix used these perfect sepia color tones.
