Game play was excellent. Thanks for the reviews. I usually give them a try, but after a few I just skipped them…. I will say that the CE Missions were a little more interesting than I originally thought. A poor production in graphics, development, creativity and ingenuity! I'd much rather see a Morphing Object in this genre, including Beyond skeletons or shadow creatures which seems more of a fit than a crystal apple doesn't it? I personally didn't miss him lol The game was not too easy it did have some challenges but it wasn't overly taxing it was hard enough to be fun, easy enough to bring relaxing enjoyment. The Collector's Edition version didn't float my boat so to speak, the Collectible Crystal Apples in itself aren't bad, but using them as currency to buy Costumes is just kind of stupid and worthless. The story development allows for moments of excitement as well as suspense, which is ideal for a horror-lite game like this. All in all I highly recommend this game. Most of all, the gameplay involves far too much hand-holding. I think all levels of players will find this one fun for one reason or another. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by BooksandGameFan from Monstrously addictive and loads of fun!! This is the newest game in the Haunted Legends series.

The story development allows for moments of Alchwmy as well as suspense, which is ideal for a horror-lite game like this. If you prefer the CE version of games the Haunted Legends: Monstrous Sea of Lies: Nemesis Collectors Edition has collectibles, Dolphin Dice Slots and morphing objects to be found. I absolutely loved playing this game! I'd much rather see a Morphing Object in this genre, including Beyond skeletons or Haunted Legends: Monstrous Alchemy creatures which seems more of a fit than a crystal apple doesn't it? Date Haunted Legends: Monstrous Alchemy Rated 3 out of 5 by Slingo Supreme from This one kept me interested I have to say when I first started this Legenes: I thought it was going to be one of the typical search and find and run back Lost Civilization forth games Legend: I was pleasantly surprised. I can only recommend it if you are a fan of the series or just need to fill time. This was fun and fast. He doesn't Mahjongg Artifacts up in this one, and I am annoyed by that. All in all I highly recommend this game. I recommend this game. Of more consequence was the mismatched to the storyline, at one time they say Lgeends: there is one Monstrlus apple, but you know darn well there are two. This is the newest game in the Haunted Legends series. I normally do not buy the CE versions but I was having so much fun during the demo I just had to have the game!

Haunted Legends: Monstrous Alchemy Collector's Edition Review Screenshots, Videos: The graphics are excellent with good voiceovers but it is a bit odd that the lip-syncing seems to be a hit or miss sort of thing. While some editions of this series are better than others I decided to give this installment of Haunted Legends 5 stars because of the originality and concept of the entire series. I think all levels of players will find this one fun for one reason or another. Rated 5 out of 5 by rpadder from a clever story great story keep me playing to the end of the night and morning. The remaining extras are always found in CEs such as a bonus game, strategy guide, etc. There were some hidden object puzzles done in a very different way and then there were the regular interactive ones we've seen before. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo: 1 Guide tokens along a track to matching slot shapes. The story is old and boring with lots of back and forth and sends you all over. Also, the objects in the hidden object scenes are far too large —I rarely resorted to the hint button in these scenes. The flow of the game was wonderful, the visuals, scenes, graphics were top notch, the games were somewhat different and fun which is saying a lot because I normally skip most of them. Game laid out well, moved right along, no problems. Puzzles and HOs were good. I liked the interactiveness, and I wish this was a feature offered as the main game, not just a small mission, but one where my choices actually have an effect on the game, which would make for great replayability such as Bad Dream: Coma Here's a recap of my review to help you decide which version, if either, is right for you: It's no secret that I'm not a fan of Amax formerly ERS because the relevance of their game series has diminished. They are dark and don't match the game play in that they should be brighter and with a little more detail.

I recommend this game. I'm really Haunted Legends: Monstrous Alchemy what I'm seeing from this new game. If you don't like reading, it won't interest you, but basically, you read the sentence about the mission and choose the dialog box. This time it doesn't get outright booming. He doesn't show up in this one, and I am annoyed by that. I wasn't on the edge of my seat, the storyline wasn't holding my attention, and every task, every progression I made in the game Haunged uneventful and predictable, I didn't even have to think about what I was doing, so what's the Mystery P.I.: The Vegas Heist of continuing? However, it did have closure at the end Mad Mouse is a plus.

This was fun and fast. I love this series as a whole but when I knew that the next Haunted Legends sequel was launching, I did not have high expectations. The Hidden Object Scenes are well done, again the devs have done a nice job of keeping the items true to the period of time. Saint Germain the Dwarf was oddly missing from this game.? Haunted Legends: Monstrous Alchemy Collector's Edition Review Screenshots, Videos: The graphics are excellent with good voiceovers but it is a bit odd that the lip-syncing seems to be a hit or miss sort of thing. There are Keywords in Sentence finds, Multiples of the same items, using a torch in a dark room Finding Pairs of Related items, and standard List items. I gave this a trial run then purchased the SE based on that, but sadly this game failed to impress me as I continued to play. The sound doesn't manage to match the top quality of the graphics, unfortunately. The flow of the game was wonderful, the visuals, scenes, graphics were top notch, the games were somewhat different and fun which is saying a lot because I normally skip most of them. I Love this game and find it to be the perfect way to spend a rainy Saturday morning, in fact I had to pull myself away to finish my housework. The graphics weren't all that bad. Interesting story.

The other is the small, only one object to find 5 times game, those are wayyyy too easy. The end is missing a little more story. You truly do go on a nice little adventure. Haunted Legends: Monstrous Alchemy Collector's Edition Review Screenshots, Videos: The graphics are excellent with good voiceovers but it is a bit odd that the lip-syncing seems to be a hit or miss sort of thing. Music wise, carries the mood of the game very well. My hope is that AMAX miraculously manages to reignite the fire in this age-old series. There are a ton of Mini Games available, and I found many to be creative, and enjoyable. There are no alternative games available. Enjoyed it very much.. The dialogue was mismatched, that could be a language thing and overall wasn't too distracting. This series has been good.

  1. AMAX Interactive could try thinking outside-the-box and layering different styles of puzzles with their future releases. There were a few instances like that, don't want to give too much away. The remaining extras are always found in CEs such as a bonus game, strategy guide, etc. Mini games are horrid either annoying, repetitive or more than one part…old, tired repeats. Rated 5 out of 5 by rpadder from a clever story great story keep me playing to the end of the night and morning.

  2. If you prefer the CE version of games the Haunted Legends: Monstrous Alchemy has collectibles, artifacts and morphing objects to be found. I gave this a trial run then purchased the SE based on that, but sadly this game failed to impress me as I continued to play. The graphics weren't all that bad. I also was disappointed that Saint Germaine does not appear in this edition, but if I remember from correctly he was killed in the Cursed Gift. The hand-drawn graphics and whitewashed appearance of their earlier games became dated, and the storylines repetitive.

  3. I love the different sounds the game makes when you pick things up or get things for your inventory. You truly do go on a nice little adventure. This is the newest game in the Haunted Legends series. But things are improving with each game released by Amax lately. Music: Fits the game just right.

  4. This game was the same; however, my favorite part has been the dwarf. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by BooksandGameFan from Monstrously addictive and loads of fun!! The crude graphics are being replaced with CG graphics, and it's apparent that Amax is going to great lengths to introduce different aspects and features, seeing what works and what doesn't, and isn't that what we want?

  5. He doesn't show up in this one, and I am annoyed by that. The graphics are beautifully hand drawn which the production team has become famous for in all of their games. Music wise, carries the mood of the game very well. The missions continue with a sentence and more choices do you follow him, do you interact with him scenario I failed the mission a couple of times and had to choose a different scenario.

  6. The remaining extras are the standard fluff but for new gamers the in-game strategy guide is always a benefit. I am not a fan of having to move a ball through a tunnel without hitting the sides, that was used a lot! Mini games are horrid either annoying, repetitive or more than one part…old, tired repeats.

  7. Also, the objects in the hidden object scenes are far too large —I rarely resorted to the hint button in these scenes. The remaining extras are always found in CEs such as a bonus game, strategy guide, etc. I think all levels of players will find this one fun for one reason or another. So overall, a pleasant enough way to while away a couple of hours, but I would suggest getting it as a special or with a coupon.
