I'm not sure what happens if you run out of hints, or don't collect any morphs, but there's always the built in Strategy Guide to help you. Got half way up on the to buy list. Enlightenus II: The Timeless Tower 1. I'll have to figure out why I didn't get the one in this series. The last game in this series, Florry's Well was a complete disaster, this game is way better, but I just don't get what's up with the cartoonish graphics. I had great fun with this game. This could, however, be considered as a CON as well. I find the mini-games or puzzles to be fun AND I like Tdst way the game flows. Date published: Rated 2 out of 5 by Pilot1 from Burn, baby, burn! I think that parts of the game were parceled out to different artist that, IMHO, makes a Fables of the Kingdom style seem fractured somehow. I have played all the games in this series, I hope the next installment is comparable to previous editions. The voice overs were done pretty well, the music was fitting. The HOG's are not hard, but involve several steps, If you forget one detail, woe betide you. The mini games Spiirit fun but nothing you haven't seen before.
Two thumbs up and a definite BUY from me. Animation is excellent. They are, in fact, of such poor quality as to be jarring and a distraction. Date published: Hint system is quite helpful and we do have a transport feature for longer locations. There are no three-dimensional environments to explore and not many animations, but at least the cutscenes are pretty decent, at least if you lower your expectations a little bit. Voice overs are well acted, and the animations are smooth. I had great fun with this game. There is usually a puzzle, sometimes two, to solve, which I list in the next section. Megan was never accepted by the other girls, and lost her life in a horrible accident in As always, I review mostly on the game play and leave the story to others to review. HOPs are varied interactive lists and interactive silhouettes. Set up is done quite nicely. Facial features fit whatever is happening at the time, movement are very smooth. There are transporting hints, and the map is interactive.
The SG, of course, tells Fige where they are. Game play was excellent. The few puzzles I encountered were on the easy side, but I myself like games on the easy side. Colors are bright, true to life, yet easy on the eye. Each game in this series has a little different story line Spirt they have all been interesting. There are also 9 Collectible Character figurines, but in the demo alone, I believe NUX find at least 3 or 4 out of the nine. I actually didn't skip any. Characters include a monosyllabic maid, well-bred and coifed headmistress, neurotic teens, and a very angry ghost. Now, with the help of Ellie's spirit, you must figure out how to stop Megan from hurting more students, which won't be easy, because she's out for revenge! There are no three-dimensional environments to explore and not many animations, but at least the cutscenes are pretty decent, at least if you Mahjong Museum Mystery your expectations a little bit. Two thumbs up and a definite BUY from me. I am glad I bought this 1.
Place was perfect and the game flowed very well. Big plus! This game has fairly nice graphics, but could be a bit clearer, not a deal breaker by any means. You have a spirit seeking revenge for something murderous done to them, so there is really nothing new, per se about this game, that hasn't been done before in the previous versions. Furthermore, the dialog is fully voice-acted, so that helps with the atmosphere. I'm not sure what happens if you run out of hints, or don't collect any morphs, but there's always the built in Strategy Guide to help you. Megan was never accepted by the other girls, and lost her life in a horrible accident in There is nothing here that made me care about any of the characters. The jump map is also helpful, but I didn't really find the need to use it for this game. The HOPS are part of what make this game so much fun for me. I didn't have to put up with half of the game being dialogue! Another reviewer has written a detailed description of the game, so I won't re-invent that wheel. There are also 9 Collectible Character figurines, available in the CE as well, and each one has a small bio that sheds more light on the story than the game itself does. For the experienced player, this game doesn't hold much of a challenge. But when you have them appear more frequently than necessary, one can tire very easily from seeing them and stop playing the game. Your tools include an integrated transporter map. The SG, of course, tells you where they are. They were creative, from your basic seek-n-find item to placing objects back in their proper place within a book, to finding an item based only on the silhouette given. However, it lacks any kind of originality in the gameplay department, so you have to make peace with that from the start. I actually don't mind easy puzzles, as long as they are fun, who cares whether you solved it in 20 seconds flat, if it's fun, that's what matters. Lastly, the graphics are about as simple as you would expect from a HOPA, which means that the artwork is the strongest element. There is usually a puzzle, sometimes two, to solve, which I list in the next section. Tasks to accomplish are intuitive and easy to figure out. Puzzles simply add to the mix that makes HOPA games; so whether puzzles are difficult or easy, I still enjoy them and love that they are part of the experience.
All and all an easy enjoyable game. This could, however, be considered as a CON as well. I got the idea there is a sequel. Voice overs are well acted, and the animations are smooth. Mini games are not too hard--I only had to consult the walkthrough once solar system. Especially so, as noted by another reviewer, in the HO sequences. Colors are bright, true to life, yet easy on the eye. Yes, I am adding this one to my collection of CE games. All in all there is nothing new here but there is still a lot of enjoyment. I think all levels of players will find this one fun for one reason or another. The few puzzles I encountered were on the easy side, but I myself like games on the easy side. They morph quit slowly, so it is easy to miss one if you are in a hurry to move on. For some reason, I only have 3. But when you have them appear more frequently than necessary, one can tire very easily from seeing them and stop playing the game.
