PuppetShow: Her Cruel Collection

ERS Games Studios proudly presents the newest addition to the Puppet Show series! You've been called in to investigate the disappearance of a young woman's fiancé. What starts as a simple investigation quickly takes a dark turn as you're thrown into a world of puppets and mystery. In a world where no one is who they seem to be, can you uncover who's behind the string of mysterious kidnappings? Find out in this gripping hidden-object puzzle adventure!

It is quite mesmerizing. There is a disclaimer at the beginning of the game about violence and objectionable scenes, but it's overstated. But not that easy. I found myself really admiring the artwork as I played. The only thing I regret is that I did not buy the collector's edition, because it tells the full story with hopefully happy ending, while the standard edition leaves one major issue unsolved. Some other points to be noted are: we can play as male or female as we choose; there are some collectibles, not many and no morphing items. Nice add-on: You can choose gender and an avatar. The only thing I regret is that I did not buy the collector's edition, because it tells the full story with hopefully happy ending, while the standard edition leaves one major issue unsolved. Marjory comes from a wealthy family but dad seems to be a bit of a miser as he refuses to loan Marjory the money for the ransom and, in fact, he places her on the dreaded restriction to keep her from following the kidnappers. Not all to solve in succession, but in loops. Whatever you need. However, it is a fun game and a great series to those who have never experienced it before. The villain are one step ahead of you. The hand-drawn graphics, even though a bit dark, create the perfect setting for the game. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Even though I have always found the Puppet Show games a bit creepy I still love the graphics created by this developer. Several different types such as description, silhouettes, completing pairs. Yes, it is nothing like the first three or four games that were phenomenal but it is a vast improvement on the last one. You get a mechanical helper for this adventure, a cat. The reason they say is to get a ransom paid by the girl's father, who refuses to pay, of course. There are still a few list type scenes and even those seem to have some interactive items to find. It is unknown how humans are transformed into these puppets and seems too complicated to find out. Hopefully another reviewer will play the whole game and fill us in on that. I'm surprised at the negative rating on the Exorcist BUT there really was not much 9: The Dark Side would justify the higher price aside from the inclusion of the Strategy Guide. Yes, Coplection is nothing like the first three or four games that were phenomenal but PuppefShow: is a vast improvement on the last one. It meets all of my requirements, such as Collextion puzzles, an exciting story and great graphics. The storyline is Chicken Invaders 3 Christmas Edition for me, because the demo doesn't leave me with that sense of urgency to make me want to see how it ends. You are called in for an investigation, but things are not so simple because you are surrounded by puppets and not real people who pretend to be what they are not. But the game was good, so I may even PuppetShow: Her Cruel Collection the CE one day. It meets all of my requirements, such as challenging puzzles, an exciting story and great graphics. If you haven't seen the others, be sure to check them out.

Fortunately, Her Cruel Collection is far better than the last game and one that I find very interesting and enjoyable. Crisp, clean lines, nice color and creative scenery all through the demo. Some were easy but there was one early in the game that is the type of puzzle I have never been able to complete in other games and, after fiddling with it for a few minutes, I hit the skip button. Overall, Her Cruel Intention is an excellent game and one of the better ones in the newer Puppet Show games. The reason they say is to get a ransom paid by the girl's father, who refuses to pay, of course. There were a lot of cut scenes, almost like watching a movie interspersed here and there with a mini game or HOG. 1. Some were easy but there was one early in the game that is the type of puzzle I have never been able to complete in other games and, after fiddling with it for a few minutes, I hit the skip button. Because of the limited number of collectible-type items and the fact that there are so many cut scenes and too few HOG's and mini games I would wait til the SE comes out and purchase then. Once I lowered it I was able to proceed without all the adrenaline flowing making me crazy :- There wasn't as much challenge as I would have expected. 2. I'm surprised at the negative rating on the CE BUT there really was not much that would justify the higher price aside from the inclusion of the Strategy Guide. Well since this team seems wedded to a pet helper, I think I would have preferred furry rather than the monstrosity that we have doing rather silly tasks. 5. The PuppetShow series must go on! There is a little bit of blood, but not at all gory, creepy or scary. An earworm. The characters are really good looking, which offsets the otherwise gloomy and dark scenes encountered.

  6. There are the usual achievements, wallpapers, screen savers and music and 4 modes to play in. IMHO, no other developer creates characters as animated and realistic looking as this artistic team. Interestingly, you have a countdown. My rating is based on playing the entire SE. We, of course, get to play the game as a detective who has been hired by Marjory to rescue her beloved James from kidnappers who are holding him for ransom.

  7. Several different types such as description, silhouettes, completing pairs. Nothing too dark or small to see. The series has just gotten a new addition and I loved it! It is quite mesmerizing. You get a mechanical helper for this adventure, a cat.
