From looking at the other reviews, MY two issues with these games are not important to others. There is a Wildlife Notebook to see illustrations of the Wildlife animals as you find them. Still not working. The puzzles between the HO levels range from super easy to a bit more difficult, which makes the game great for all ages. Date published: I never get tired of them. All add to the overall fun. A good way to get kids interested in wildlife, and maybe, develop in them a desire to embrace a careeer as Park Ranger. But for me, a perfect five star game should indicate 'perfection', and this one falls short. I read several reviews when the CE version was released stating that they would wait for this Standard Edition version because they didn't think the CE was worthy. Date published: Rated 3 out of 5 by CyndiLouWho2 from Love the puzzles, the rest is just MEH Hmm, the ninth game in the Vacation Adventures series and there are still those same two things that keep me from giving them a higher rating. Enough challenge to be satisfying. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by iou from I want to live at Pinecreek Hills! It's a fun challenge to me.

These games are great to just sit back and Agatha Christie: The ABC Murders to. I read several reviews when the CE version was released stating that they would wait for this Standard Edition version because they didn't think the CE was worthy. I love that you have an option to Collechors a timer or to take your dear sweet time playing it. Graphics are excellent although busy at times but there isn't any of the darkness prevalent in most hidden object games these days.

Played and reviewed the demo for the CE version when it came out and couldn't see any reason not to wait for the standard version which I purchased yesterday. The only puzzles I consistently skip in these are the ones where I have to spin the rings to make the picture; I just don't have the patience to figure out how to get everything just right so that the rings that affect other rings end up right. However, I can assure you that Park Ranger 9 is by no means a boring game. Can't wait to see if the same can be said for the next Cruise Vacation Adventures. Music adds to the overall enjoyment. Besides the 24 Wallpapers, 20 Music Soundtracks more than any CE game offering I can recall there are 48 Replayable Mini-Games that are the same types offered in the main game, but each one is slightly different, and 48 replayable mini-games is unheard of in any CE game I've ever come across! Despite this one drawback, if you have played any of the earlier games in this series, you will really like this one. Levels can be replayed at any time to better your score or locate items you missed including Wildlife and Recyclable items. And speaking of poor quality graphics, the other issue I have is not being able to spot the trash in the scenes, and then not having the ability to use a hint to find it. Points add up which you can use in the store. There is a specific story line throughout the overall game and it is nice and straight forward and makes sense. But I do find the excellent HOS well worth the purchase and play.

Levels can be replayed at any time to better your score or locate items you missed including Wildlife and Recyclable items. I hope from now on all Vacation adventures, will be a collector,s edition. Despite this one drawback, if you have played any of the earlier games in this series, you will really like this one. The puzzles are a Vaccation challenge. There Hidden Object Scenes located all around the park, and even scenes where you find Multiples of the Same or related objects. That said, back to the game I believe Paro also has an educational value. The numerous mini games between areas are a blast and some are easy and some difficult. This is Eition one series that Fright Chasers: Directors Cut Collectors Edition soon as the next comes out it is an automatic buy for me and i highly recommend this one especially if you are tired of what is available in HO these days. I Vaacation all the Vacation Adventures: Park Rangers games. Still, Vacation Adventures: Park Sakura Day 2 Mahjong 9 manages to charm with nostalgia and its scrapbook-like style.

The puzzles between the HO levels range from super easy to a bit more difficult, which makes the game great for all ages. First let me mention that the story is cute, and simply written for children to understand. From looking at the other reviews, MY two issues with these games are not important to others. Despite this one drawback, if you have played any of the earlier games in this series, you will really like this one. If I'd have known that, I'd have bought it instead of waiting for this one. The numerous mini games between areas are a blast and some are easy and some difficult. Although the bonus goodies are nice and all, I wish the game would have stepped up its production and gameplay features to make this ninth installment worth spending more money on. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by hamcrafter from Virtual Camping Easy to see pictures and colors I'm over 60 and glasses need updating , moves along at a good pace. Many of the objects I needed to find weren't drawn very well, and the resolution of the hand drawn scenes is poor. There is a specific story line throughout the overall game and it is nice and straight forward and makes sense. Keep it up Big Fish!

Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by marimae from One of the best of the nine. And speaking of poor quality graphics, the other issue I have is not being able to spot the trash in the scenes, and then not having the ability to use a hint to find it. Consistent with the theme of the game, the collectibles in Vacation Adventures: Park Ranger 9 comes in the form of wildlife animals. It's almost like the Park Rangers have met Clutter Joe and had a party together. Play and have fun! Share this:. Despite this one drawback, if you have played any of the earlier games in this series, you will really like this one. I love that you have an option to use a timer or to take your dear sweet time playing it. There is a Wildlife Notebook to see illustrations of the Wildlife animals as you find them. The only big complaint I have with this particular game, and what kept it from 5 stars rare for me , is the length. Graphics are excellent although busy at times but there isn't any of the darkness prevalent in most hidden object games these days. What would be so very cool is if the developer could go back and compile all the puzzles for more CE versions or just a "puzzles only" game. Wish there were more type of this game!

Despite this one drawback, if you have played any of the earlier games in this series, you will really like this one. You can use the money you earn playing the HO scenes and mini-games, to purchase 16 Souvenirs in the Camp Shop which will be displayed in the Souvenir Room next to the Shop Icon.

  2. It was long but I wouldn't have minded another 10 extra scenes ;- Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by denniann2 from i love it!!!!!! I don't understand why they have to be hand drawn with photos of real people pasted into them. Vacation Adventures: Park Ranger 9 follows the direction of the past eight games in this best-selling series, alternating between hidden object scenes and quick mini-games. The only puzzles I consistently skip in these are the ones where I have to spin the rings to make the picture; I just don't have the patience to figure out how to get everything just right so that the rings that affect other rings end up right. They should have used real people there also.
