The options could've gone to better heights, since this is "Pirate themed" there is a lack of instructions and options! Definitely a beginner game for those who are just learning about match 3. In some levels you would get stuck with no way to finish. The gold squares need to broken and you are required to find so many jewels of each color. If you're looking for a boring game, you've found it! It reminded me of animated classics with swashbuckling music. Maybe I missed something in the instructions, but I became bored with this game after about an hour. I still have time to play. There are a few powe-ups in the form of a pirate crew, each with their own specialty, but you really don't need them.

The match-3 part was a little on the easy side if you're the next bejeweled champion looking for a challenge, this might not be for you , but the characters are absolutely adorable and looked like they are straight from a storybook, and the game levels were varied enough to be interesting throughout.
