Music and effects went along with the action in the scene. I was surprised that Anna didn't talk in Northern Tale 3 one. Unfortunately, the trend seems to persist with this latest sequel, The Hunger. Hope you do as well. I don't know why he was in there. The Hidden Object Scenes are unimpressive and extremely easy to locate all items quickly. That's really short. I found the mini Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened to be simple enough that I was able to play them. I have been waiting for this to come out and was super disappointed. The graphics were clear and crisp with realistic character designs, but that's really the only positive I can say about this game. They found nothing, people suspected it was the partner, the partner went and hid evidence then left town That doesn't stop him from joining your time-traveling adventure though, because Anna Gray takes Daddy Richard's skull with her wherever she goes, hey who doesn't right? Great game

The only highlight of the game for me would be the HOS and graphics. Aside from a really easy adventure component, we had puzzles literally everywhere. I was surprised that Anna didn't talk in this one. AND got to do it the second time.. Hidden objects were varied and interesting. The HOS were great and the best part of the game, spaced out well and quite fun. This time it's her niece Jackie, who you may remember she rescued when she was younger. There weren't dark shades of purple and black. I used the custom mode so I wouldn't have to wait for the hint and skip to recharge. It's a hard pass from me. I just ended up waiting out the skip button and then another would appear, and another, and another The story had no major plot twists or turns and just wasn't gripping whatsoever.

Because they Grim Tales: The Hunger on using the same Griim tasks, this game can be done in your sleep For the most part, the games are intertwined with the story. The storyline is decent, but the game features are way too cookie-cutter, it's clear that they poured all of their energy into Detectives United, and rushed to Taes: this game released. There are some good twists. I used to buy an Incredible Express game and it'd take me a while to get through it, but Orchidia they Hungr all so short. As other have said, this game is rather short, but it was long enough for me to kill an afternoon. Good graphics and smooth flow of game. The storyline is decent, but the game features are way too cookie-cutter, it's clear that they poured all of their energy into Detectives United, and rushed to get this game released. The HOS were great and the best part of the game, spaced out well and quite fun. I'd rather get this game on sale than spend full price on it. The puzzles weren't too difficult; only one gave me a bit of trouble and I skipped it. The graphics are crystal clear, the locations are neatly-designed, and the special effects are appropriate and well-placed. I was hoping it would take me 2 hours, at least. Play the demo and see if it isn't a game you might enjoy. It was the perfect length for me. If I did need to go elsewhere it would show where to go and transport me there. This game is probably fantastic for a new beginner of HO games who is just getting their feet wet, but for a long-time player, not so much. There just seemed to be one after the other, way too many for the demo or my liking.

The Hidden Object Scenes are unimpressive and extremely easy to locate all items quickly. This game is probably fantastic for a new beginner of HO games who is just getting their feet wet, but for a long-time player, not so much. I wasn't successful all the time, but at least they were doable. The music department also tries their best to increase the thrills through the soundtracks, despite how timid and safe the game actually is. The main bad thing is that it is very short and I'm finding that with almost every game. Because they insist on using the same obvious tasks, this game can be done in your sleep Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo: 1-Swap tokens along paths to matching related item slots. Some minis I just don't know what to do. The ugly hotel rooms and police stations didn't do it justice. In this series:. The main good points about this were that the graphics and HO scenes weren't muddled and I could see without difficulty. Plus, the ghost guy was really annoying.

The Bonus Chapter returns with Alexander as the lead character as an excited dad-to-be as Natalya is expecting twins. Date published: Rated 4 out of 5 by deddu from Good, But Seemed Short This is a good standard hidden object game that seemed to go fast. The HOS were great and the best part of the game, spaced out well and quite fun. This one really does have some mystery to it, although it is a familiar story. Have they run out of new ideas or do they just recycle the same scenes? The puzzles were also rather easy, most could be done with no information at all and the HO area were quite simple. The main good points about this were that the graphics and HO scenes weren't muddled and I could see without difficulty. Play the demo and see if it isn't a game you might enjoy. The sense of urgency is also lacking in The Hunger, making for a forgettable and dull storyline. The graphics were clear and crisp with realistic character designs, but that's really the only positive I can say about this game. This time it's her niece Jackie, who you may remember she rescued when she was younger. But maybe because it was so short??? I used the custom mode so I wouldn't have to wait for the hint and skip to recharge. Honestly, I was able to find most of the items without looking at the list, and there's just no excuse for this!

  1. The Mini-Games are decent but some of them have vague instructions. I have always liked the this story line. The developer aims to engage the player into the mystery through the evidence tab, but its use is actually very minimal and adds very little suspense to the game.

  2. I sure did. The ugly hotel rooms and police stations didn't do it justice. I just ended up waiting out the skip button and then another would appear, and another, and another I was hoping it would take me 2 hours, at least. The bonus section consists of a strategy guide, wallpapers, screensavers, concept art, soundtracks, achievements, collectibles, morphing objects, and archives.

  3. I have been waiting for this to come out and was super disappointed. There weren't dark shades of purple and black. Once again, the family turns to Anna and skull daddy to save the day. The voice overs were very well done and good old Richard is back with his recognizable voice.

  4. Hidden objects were varied and interesting. Hope you do as well. It has all the staple features Elephant can't seem to resist, magic oil that removes decades of rust instantly, instant ink revealer, missing clock hands, items in a sewer drain, cobwebs, tarps over a trailer. Because I pretty much finished the first chapter in the demo, I was able to speed through it when I actually bought it and finished the entire game in about an hour.

  5. The great thing about these reviews is what each of us looks for in a game. I used to buy an HO game and it'd take me a while to get through it, but now they are all so short. Lately, the once-unbeatable Grim Tales series has taken quite a hit in terms of quality. One thing I wish designers would do is have a way to have the computer complete the mini and then allow the player to attempt it again. Others will go into depth about the story, so I'll just say it got me involved from the beginning and kept me until the end.

  6. The story had no major plot twists or turns and just wasn't gripping whatsoever. There are way too many "navigation" style puzzles in my opinion, which at times, are back to back. I was a bit disappointed in this one. Hope you do as well.
