There was great detail put into the graphics of this game. Well, you have to save your father, so you start to explore the island and learn its secrets. The only thing that took away from the game was an occasional typo. Worth the money. Since I am one of those people in the house who can play games, really I'm just putting off the inevitable; I bring you The Secrets of Arcelia Island. This one kept my attention. It kept my attention. This game could have been phenomenal with voiceovers, as there was quite a bit of dialogue in the game. The end promises a sequel - Definitely something I would want to play. I really wanted to hear what her father sounded like, or the Elf, or the Fairies, or the Satyr It gets better and better as it progresses. It took a bit more thinking not every thing was given to us on a silver platter which I enjoyed. The art is great - some items are small but easy to see - everything is clear and the actions are logical so they are not too difficult to figure out. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!! There was a lot of going back and forth through the locales in order to complete tasks.

I came across this little jewel while searching for something different. As a result, the game became addictive as I just had to save the day!! You can choose to you don't have to find 42 story pieces, which at the end of the game, you can put together in your journal like jigsaw puzzles and read more about the story behind Arcelia. Let me tell you a little story Then, you encounter an evil sorceress, who warns you to leave the island or you'll die a horrible death. Took me about 4 hours to play because I read everything and took my time, loved every minute, the developers obviously cared. You find your way to the shores of Arcelia Island, which you thought was a fairy tale your whole life, and find your father alive I was so pleasantly surprised when I played this game. If you are wondering why you haven't heard from Lucy in a really long time, well, she's been really busy with school. The hint button gives real hints - not just tells you what to do next. Not one! There were no voiceovers! It gets better and better as it progresses. The game kept my interest to the end and I had fun the whole time. Not too many hidden object games, but rather a nice blend of games and puzzles.

It was not easy finding all Izland pieces either, but I have noted every single one and included a complete list of where they are located in case you find you are missing a few.
