From what I played of this game, I did enjoy. Can you weather the storm of this vixen? You can replay 15 HOP scenes and 17 Mini-games. Unfortunately, the pirates show no mercy, using their latest weapon, "The Siren". The HO's were ok. The puzzles vary in difficulty and variety. This little semi-precious gem has a pirate theme, which suits me, with a dash of Mayan culture. I spy a little fly. The music is fun and pirate-y as well. They are beautifully created and varied including lists of items to locate, silhouette, and cryptic clues. Only issue: length, it was a little bit too short.. Im tired of magic or blue and purple steam or mists and evil underlords. Would probably buy it on sale. If you're still skeptical, try a CE sale. The cinematics are excellent, voiceovers are good, well drawn characters, and most tasks are logical. There are small zoom zone HOP's and there is an optional Match 3 game to play. Manual dexterity puzzle. Wishing myself to set sail to a small sun swept Caribbean island, I purchased this game straightaway to play on a bleak, wintry day! Then you go into town, and you get to help the Mayor because somehow he has contracted some virus or illness and his daughter goes into the forest and collects these plants another woman who collects weird plants and who is also weird By pulling up plants by their roots, match up those roots according to a plant guide. Good handicraft. The storyline isn't terribly original, but it does feature a female protagonist who is a surgeon and saves the day.

Your ship is a wreck. The puzzles vary in difficulty and variety. So awesome. Towards the end some of the games had no instructions and were difficult to maneuver. She just stands there and stares at you a lot. In the 36 mins of the demo that I played, I played two HOS, and it was your typical find one part, and that part connected to another part, etc my favorite kind. Most of the HOP's are interactive list finds, but there are silhouetted shape finds, descriptions of items to find and even scenes that require you find 5 of the same objects on each side which gives you a tool to unlock the list of items.

The pirates have a new weapon, and they call her "The Siren", this pied piper of the seas has just called for backup, a giant tentacled Kraken, that rips through the hull of your ship and sends her to the bottom of the sea. Game even seems to lag technically a bit. The puzzles include a devious little physics problem along with a rotating rings puzzle and a moving tiles puzzle. And if that doesn't drive you nuts, the stiff posture of the characters and the horrid phony accents in the dialogue will. The inventory itself is puzzle-like. There are plus signs on some of the inventory items requiring an extra step before using, some of which are in the form of a small simple puzzle to solve. I enjoyed it! As we all know, we all have different taste. You crawl to the shores of Puerto Valiz, but the pirates are relentless, as they attempt to cut off all sources of communication. I really dislike those sidebars which keep popping in outlining you tasks AND telling you that it has been accomplished.
