Labyrinths of the World: Forbidden Muse Collectors Edition

From DominiGames, the studio that brought you the Dark Romance series, comes the latest adventure in the Labyrinths of the World saga! For centuries, the noble muse Calliope has blessed all kinds of artists who have traveled to her city and asked her for inspiration. Today the city is famous for artists and attracts people from all over the world. But when a dark force tears Calliope’s essence into three parts, you must step in and gather them back together, before the whole world loses its creativity. Calliope’s essence has fled into art buildings and sealed itself away and anyone trapped inside. But beware, someone is watching from the shadows and they are coveting Calliope’s powers for their own dark desires.

The production is certainly commendable, but the gameplay is far less superior. You find silhouettes that complete parts of the scene. You also get a magic paint palette that brings pictures to life -- a marmet, a dragon, and others. I like the HOS as well. Magical palette, enchanted tuning fork and mystical notebook. I like the graphics, which are very colourful, i love the idea that you paint something with colour and it becomes real wished I could use this tool in my world!!! This series started out with a small doll to do your bidding. The hops are plentiful and most are interactive. Picking it up to get the music and then picking up the medallion and use it on things. It is enertaining, I know what to do next which is not with all games!!! You are a detective who is sent on an agency test to find the three essences of the arts patron Calliope who has gone off the deep end. Have seen some people not like the little "doll" helper feature, but thought it was really cute and added just a little extra to the great graphics of this game

Worod: from the dolls, there are three different magical tools Collecctors they are definitely less annoying and more useful than our helper. Firstly, the story is similar — both Cpllectors have you searching through some fantasy locations with the aim of finding the pieces of a shattered soul, or essence in this second game. Date published: This game came out in June and is second in this series. In many ways, Labyrinths of the World is very similar to its predecessors. Sometimes that's just what you want!! You have a FBI: Paranormal Case doll, who dons different outfits you find and can fix things, or charm snakes, or whatever. Puzzles are different and tried hint button which worked well. Collectibles are Olives and Coins, and even though I have completed the game I am not sure what to do with the olives. I like the barbiedoll, which one can Labyrinthhs everytime new and get her to help one with the tasks. These critters also help you out, reaching areas you cannot. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by tutortime from I enjoyed it! The hidden object scenes are well-crafted, although not as entertaining as we would like them to be. I would have preferred morphing objects or extra hidden features in the game. It doesn't take a lot of thought, and sometimes easy fun is OK. Length: 7 Chapters plus the Bonus but not a stand alone game, more like an addition to the game after Owen has decided to be a nice guy. Achievements: At least over HOS: During the demo they were all the same silhouettes but after that they changed to lists or pictures and I enjoyed them. Poker for Dummies would have preferred morphing objects or extra hidden features in the game. The CC edition was worth the money as it had all new storyline and was also long.

All the negatives aside, Forbidden Muse has quite a nice length; the main game took us over 4 hours and the bonus chapter took us an hour or so. And they should research what a Harlequin really is as it is definitely not a dress-up Barbie doll. In the bonus chapter you have to power up the medallion with music. They were by the hints and you pick them up when you want to use them. Engaging from the start. The hidden object scenes are well-crafted, although not as entertaining as we would like them to be. You can play Match 3 instead. Have seen some people not like the little "doll" helper feature, but thought it was really cute and added just a little extra to the great graphics of this game No replays on hops or mini-puzzles. Domini Games took a very odd approach in this game and gave us a Harlequin helper, which basically is a Barbie doll copycat. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by gyanda from very entertaining game I did like this game very much. This game is a bit quirky, but I like it anyway. HOS: During the demo they were all the same silhouettes but after that they changed to lists or pictures and I enjoyed them. Since some hops are lovely and the mini-puzzles are to my liking. Great game, long, beautiful graphics and colors. Length: 7 Chapters plus the Bonus but not a stand alone game, more like an addition to the game after Owen has decided to be a nice guy. I like this type of CE bling.

  1. It doesn't take a lot of thought, and sometimes easy fun is OK. This game came out in June and is second in this series. I like the story which first seemed so simple and then gets a twist, when you don't know, whom to trust anymore. If they drew her picture, it would of been better. All the negatives aside, Forbidden Muse has quite a nice length; the main game took us over 4 hours and the bonus chapter took us an hour or so.

  2. These critters also help you out, reaching areas you cannot. Plus you find olive branches that let you decorate your boudoir. This series started out with a small doll to do your bidding.
