Not really my thing. But having skipped them, I could totally enjoy the spooky woods and wonder what the mist-thing was all about. As always, I review mostly on the game play and leave the story to others to review. The biggest complaint I have is with the fact that this is a coveted Collector's Edition, supposedly, yet the only bling offered is those famous Hidden Signs that are always offered in every game by this developer! But soon this takes a turn: Jane is missing. Started out thinking the story was going to be an intriguing one but the development of "intrigue" didn't happen. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by Mattandjulie from great hidden object game The best game we've played in ages, Excellent!! Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by rainworm from The fog and what is behind We begin in the wonderfully creepy atmosphere of a campfire story: a group of young people around a fire at the edge of a forest, laughing and joking, taking a video of the trip. I'll keep this short, as I'm too lazy to go into heavy details The Mini Games are my favorite kind, it's hard to describe, but the kind where you tinker with electrical components that are more realistic?? One of the reason's I liked this game better than the last, is that there are a ton of Mini Games, most of which are super easy. Both the main and bonus game seemed to end abruptly. The Hidden Object Scenes are decent, and I liked the scene locations they chose, however, some of the HOP scenes are repeated, a feature I really hate. HOPS were enjoyable to play because of the style and look of them. I give credit where credit is due.

The biggest plus for me is the setting with a suspenseful story. There's just no challenge in them when you remember where everything is because you were just there searching for objects. To buy the product you need to Phnatasmat: with Big Fish. Sound and CCurse quality excellent. Lost Amulets: Mystic Land graphics are excellent with good voiceovers but it is a bit odd that the lip-syncing seems to be a hit or miss sort of thing. Curse Dolphin Dice Slots the Mist is good As always, I review mostly on the game play and leave the story to others to review. NOTE: This is a downloader for the game. As always, try if out for yourself and see what you think. We get clues, the fog may have caused disease outbreaks, it may be poisened with impurities in the exhaust air from the Nelville Refinery. First off, I was able to finish this demo with 30 minutes remaining, and that's with playing every Mini Game Collectprs skipping, AND taking Pahntasmat: time to write Mahjong Masters: Temple of the Ten Gods information on the game. I've always wondered why every Mixt seems to have diary pages spewed about, and conveniently available in every scene, as a means of telling the story, so this concept is so much more credible in my opinion. The Phantasmat: Curse of the Mist Collectors Edition are beautifully hand drawn which the production team has become famous for in all of their games.

Not only that, but the game as a whole is very polished and different from many HOPAs on the market, even if it features the same underlying ideas. Where is the mist coming from, and just what kind of Phantasmat lurks somewhere between the world of the living, and the dead? Some scenes have zoom zones with a handful of Multiples to find as well, and you can opt for a Match 3 game instead. I'd much rather see them omit those stupid Hidden Signs to be honest. By now it has become a question of life or death. So kudos for that. To buy the product you need to register with Big Fish. Thanks for taking the time to read this and Happy Holidays, Fishies!! I find this edition to be very well drawn and characters appear life-like. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by SparkleGlow from Excellent story- Excellent graphics- Review based on completed game. Here's your sign, that's all you're going to get in this CE! Had I waited, I more than likely would not have shelled out the big bucks for a CE that has very little to offer! In terms of entertainment and relaxation, this game delivers just what you need!

As is the case with most CE's there are collections and morphs. Below are brief descriptions of some of the Mini Games you'll encounter during the demo: 1 Follow the clues on the map to choose the correct path direction. I'm having a lot of fun with it. While the story itself is nothing new a camping trip is interrupted by a spooky event and another girl is abducted as a result I liked that not much information is divulged during the demo. Some plot twists keep the blood pumping along the way, but the story is still pretty mild. Curse of the Mist is good However, I Lucid several complaints not related to the storyline! Yes, the game will be a buy for me. As Fierce Tales: The Dogs Heart Collectors Edition the puzzles, they are not very Dolphin Dice Slots, but it depends on the chosen difficulty level. As is the case with most CE's there are collections and morphs. Date published: Fortunately Eipix has applied a patch in Curse of the Mist and this is a sigh of hope for the series to return to its often lofty heights. As always, I review mostly on the game play and leave the story to others to review. In terms of entertainment and relaxation, this game delivers just what you need! Are we now getting shorter games instead of the price going up, like less crisps in a packet but they still cost the same as when they used to have far more. As for the puzzles, they are not very complex, but it depends on the chosen difficulty level. This game seemed more geared towards the beginner player, as it was on the easy side. The Hidden Object Scenes are mostly Interactive List finds, the scenes are beautifully drawn and there are a ton of interactive items. Yet we know not why. This is another installment in the Phantasmat series and will not disappoint if you enjoyed previous games but you might find the games a little easy. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by rainworm from The fog and what is behind We begin in the wonderfully creepy atmosphere of a campfire story: a group of young people around a fire at the edge of a forest, laughing and joking, taking a video of the trip. The voice acting is on point too, although there is not an awful lot of dialog going on anyway. Here's your sign, that's all you're going to get in this CE!

NOTE: This is a downloader for the game. We follow and see a guy with Jane, he has thrown her over his shoulder. Here's your sign, that's all you're going to get in this CE! Search for useful items and tackle mini-games Although many of the puzzles might seem familiar to you, they are usually presented in a different way, which is why the Phantasmat series is so exciting. They are all so short and this is no exception. The Hidden Object Scenes are decent, and I liked the scene locations they chose, however, some of the HOP scenes are repeated, a feature I really hate. The ending is pleasant because the situation is resolved and you as the hero are victorious. The Bonus game in this CE is good but short. I love that they have brought back the "visions" you have as you progress. However, I have several complaints not related to the storyline! Had I waited, I more than likely would not have shelled out the big bucks for a CE that has very little to offer! Music is soothing until something is either happening or about to happen, then it cuts loose. In the tent we take the rewind the camera tape and watch the sequence. I muted the voice-overs so I can't leave an opinion, I didn't listen to the music, and just had the sound effects on.

  1. Where is the mist coming from, and just what kind of Phantasmat lurks somewhere between the world of the living, and the dead? This is one of them. The story starts with a camping trip that goes wrong in the middle of the night. But if you want an easy, funny game then this game is perfect for you.

  2. The Hidden Object Scenes are mostly Interactive List finds, the scenes are beautifully drawn and there are a ton of interactive items. As always, try the demo first. Had I waited, I more than likely would not have shelled out the big bucks for a CE that has very little to offer!

  3. HOPS were enjoyable to play because of the style and look of them. The voice acting is on point too, although there is not an awful lot of dialog going on anyway. I'll keep this short, as I'm too lazy to go into heavy details While the story itself is nothing new a camping trip is interrupted by a spooky event and another girl is abducted as a result I liked that not much information is divulged during the demo. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by Mattandjulie from great hidden object game The best game we've played in ages, Excellent!!

  4. The HO segments are appealing with one in particular finding shapes within a dream catcher scene is really fine. One of the reasons I love this series is because I have always been able to count on Morphing Objects being available in every scene, but now they have decided to omit this beloved feature. Phantasmat has been lessened overall by this decision. Recently I went back to most of the Dark Parables which continues to shine with every new game Blue Tea issues.

  5. There's just no challenge in them when you remember where everything is because you were just there searching for objects. We follow and see a guy with Jane, he has thrown her over his shoulder. But having skipped them, I could totally enjoy the spooky woods and wonder what the mist-thing was all about. My thought is that developers churn them out too quickly, resulting in less imaginative stories. A horror story with all features, you need: the setting has this Gothic feel with the old ruined mansion and the blue-grey fog around it and in the forest.

  6. One of the reason's I liked this game better than the last, is that there are a ton of Mini Games, most of which are super easy. Sound and picture quality excellent. The graphics are beautifully hand drawn which the production team has become famous for in all of their games.

  7. It seems like all of the serial games are basically the same. It's just nice to have a fun and relaxing game to play. Perhaps the SE later on or a free game code use might entice me. As such, the main character wakes up in total darkness and finds out that her friend has been kidnapped by some kind of mist. Some plot twists keep the blood pumping along the way, but the story is still pretty mild.

  8. Spot on graphics —lots of detail and natural colors, spooky grays and shadows. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by SparkleGlow from Excellent story- Excellent graphics- Review based on completed game. Curse of the Mist is an excellent addition to the series and has a great "creep" factor. Graphics are really nice in this game, though, just like the animations.

  9. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by Mattandjulie from great hidden object game The best game we've played in ages, Excellent!! Yes, the game will be a buy for me. This game seemed more geared towards the beginner player, as it was on the easy side. Perhaps the SE later on or a free game code use might entice me.

  10. Many other games in the genre rely on repetitive tasks to keep the action flowing, which can obviously become repetitive, but Phantasmat usually tries to keep things fresh. Soon we realize, we are not welcome and when we find a graveyard with several older and newer sloppily heaped graves. So I am interested in continuing based on the story alone. Had I waited, I more than likely would not have shelled out the big bucks for a CE that has very little to offer!

  11. The one thing it has going for it is that the story line is pretty cool and I'm actually wanting to know what's going to happen next Map is good like always mini games are pretty much run of the mill Eipix style, so nothing new here. The Bonus game in this CE is good but short.

  12. The story is not very original - unsuspecting hikers; spooky forest; creepy house and the mist! Curse of the Mist is an excellent addition to the series and has a great "creep" factor. I'd much rather see them omit those stupid Hidden Signs to be honest. This is the section I usually explain about the many Collector's Edition version Collectibles. The game was way to short as a result.

  13. Had I waited, I more than likely would not have shelled out the big bucks for a CE that has very little to offer! My thought is that developers churn them out too quickly, resulting in less imaginative stories. The biggest plus for me is the setting with a suspenseful story.

  14. Not only that, but the game as a whole is very polished and different from many HOPAs on the market, even if it features the same underlying ideas. We played Phantasmat: Curse of the Mist on the easiest difficulty mode, rarely skipped any puzzles, and completed the game in around four hours. It's like reading a book that grabbed you in the beginning but when you finished you questioned why you hung in there.
