The Legacy: The Tree of Might

The grand historical museum reception held by Deborah Whitwick became well known throughout the country. An inexplicable viral attack on the guests occurred right in the middle of the lady's solemn speech. When the epidemic began, no one had any idea just what the citizens of New York were facing. An urgent expedition was organized to re-explore the archipelago in the hope of finding information on the nature of the disease. As a linguist and expert on ancient languages, I was to join them. I couldn't even imagine how this journey would turn out for me...

The map is very useful as there are a lot of regions that get opened up. I haven't written a review in awhile, as there hasn't been any games out lately that have really proved to be worthy of one. Plus a welcome break from all the dark games with deranged characters and monsters wanting to steal your soul. The HOPS are among the best I have seen, integrated with the plot, and challenging, sometimes a subplot all their own. The bonus chapter serves as a decent prequel to the main game and it is relatively long with a length of roughly 80 minutes. The slight fuzzy quality of the visuals is made up by incredibly lifelike animations, epic special effects, and breathtaking location design. Again, so well executed. Two weeks later, this deadly virus has spread all over the continent and legend has it that it can only be cured with the heart of the Tree of Might. One of the very first puzzles in the game had me scratching my head as I tried to figure out what moves I needed to make to get through a maze. With the various game modes offered, anyone can enjoy this game. Similarly, the multi-layered hidden object scenes are both clever and entertaining — we actually wish there were more of them in the game. Silhouette scenes are not my favorite but this developer does them so well that I find them enjoyable. The soundtracks are equally mind-blowing, and the voice-overs are definitely some of the best in the genre.

I played the demo, and it was a buy for me. The puzzles are really great. As always, I won't review the storyline as that isn't a make or break for me. I'm not going to go into a ton of detail, other reviewers do that much better. A lot of maturity and serenity emanate from all The Legacy: The Tree of Might this. Try the demo, see what you think about travelling into unusual places for a cure to a nasty virus. Well done, 5-BN, always a favorite developer. There are challenges at every turn, so, I wouldn't say it was a typical HO game, but, more of an adventure. There Danse Macabre: Lethal Letters one thing that I Thr say negative about this game. I like the graphics, and the music too, everything just clicks. I have always loved games from Five-BN Games because they offer so much to do and have excellent storylines. Interesting story and amazing graphics. I haven't written a review in awhile, as there hasn't been any games out lately that have really proved to be worthy of one. Silhouette scenes are not my favorite but this developer does them so well that I find them enjoyable. A lot of times, these games add character after character and does more to confuse than to add to the story. However, the characters were not realistic enough for my taste and their "void" facial expressions didn't match the emotion in the voices. This standard version is of course recommanded but not more than the Collector, which has good extras and a bonus level of 1 hour in which we play as the young man just between his two first meetings with Diana and the pilot , and why he seemed to have changed. The puzzles are really great. The Legacy saga continues to impress with this brand-new installment, The Tree of Might; a sophisticated and stunning adventure. Very well made. The graphics were very good and so full of color. The adventure gameplay is logical and smart, without resorting to an excessive amount of backtracking. Very well made. But the voices were quite good and very clear, I actually bought the CE version because I was enticed by all the extra goodies. 2. Date published: If you enjoy puzzles then you will most certainly enjoy this game since there are a lot of them and most are more challenging than the easy-peasy ones we find in most HOPA games. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by eric72 from Well made 3rd episode A 3rd rather long adventure in this series to be savored, more substantial than The Prisoner, but easier than Forgotten Gates. As always, I won't review the storyline as that isn't a make or break for me.

  3. And the music is so beautiful. Two weeks later, this deadly virus has spread all over the continent and legend has it that it can only be cured with the heart of the Tree of Might. 5. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by byreiki from A Great Game Even though this is just a standard version game, it lasts a long time, with lots of levels and puzzles to play. The same goes for the puzzles, just enough challenge not to distract from the storyline. One of the very first games from this developer started my love affair with their games and I have never yet been disappointed. And I was surprised by the source of danger and deceit that suddenly overtook Diana after passing through the gate.

  6. I always play in casual mode, taking my time to enjoy the game and explore the plot. Everything else is great!!! The game starts out with what at first feels like a generic plotline; another contagious virus, another cure that needs to be found. And the music is so beautiful.

  7. Happy gaming! Not too challenging or confusing that they become frustrating, but just the right amount of difficulty and a whole lot of fun. Interesting story and amazing graphics. Very well made. The Legacy: The Tree of Might hooked me right in from the first second and never let go.

  8. I like the graphics, and the music too, everything just clicks. These are just right. Like in other games by Five-BN , you can expect Objects Scenes which are nothing but a series of well made interactions but they are few ; instead we have also some where we put objects back into their proper place, one is about finding pairs , also a few classical scenes with some interactions and incorporated mini-game I also enjoyed this sequence where we find all the similarities between 2 paintings.

  9. That one was a lot of fun! Not only is the game excellent, it is one that if full of twists and turns. Can you locate the Tree of Might and put an end to this epidemic? One of the very first games from this developer started my love affair with their games and I have never yet been disappointed. Similarly, the multi-layered hidden object scenes are both clever and entertaining — we actually wish there were more of them in the game.

  10. This isn't one of them. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by ipprocessdoc from My kind of game! The bonus chapter serves as a decent prequel to the main game and it is relatively long with a length of roughly 80 minutes. I like the graphics, and the music too, everything just clicks.

  11. I haven't written a review in awhile, as there hasn't been any games out lately that have really proved to be worthy of one. Diana is in for the adventure of a lifetime in The Tree of Might. We explore several other worlds one is Egypt inspired , in one there are Hindu elements , and at the end there are also Walkyries references , but it does not feel we are playing a sci-fi game. Again, so well executed.
