Olympus Griddlers

The mighty Gods of majestic Mount Olympus seek a new hero! Solve your way through 120 unique puzzles, earning dazzling trophies along the way. Decode a myriad of ancient scrolls and become a Greek legend in Olympus Griddlers!

There are 6 different rooms with approximately 20 levels in each room, with the goal of three gold stars in each level, but you can replay any level to try for a better score. When a level has been completed, you will be shown a panel listing the money earned, hints used, mistakes made, completion time and the best time for that level. The music is not overbearing. The only other thing that bothered me was that it was hard to see when I made a mistake. Often I would finish a grid, thinking I had made no mistakes, only to see that I had lost a star and had to replay it to keep the 3 stars, I know an "X" appears to the left of the grid to indicate a mistake, but when I am concentrating on the grid, I don't see the "X's" until I'm through. There must be at least one blank cell between each group of cells that form the picture. I will say however that when I exited this game, it said that my progress wouldn't be saved! Failure to complete a level, by making too many mistakes, will result in the level needing to be replayed. You can return to a level later in order to improve your star rating. Winning all 17 trophies isn't that important to me, particularly if you have to cheat to do it. Each grid starts with one available hint. It is a pity there really isn't a story line but we can't have everything. Some of these cells, when selected, reveal a concealed picture. There is also a Trophy Room which displays any additional rewards you receive for achieving certain targets.

  1. When starting this game, you can set up profiles for individual players. Each grid starts out with 3 stars; with each mistaken click, one star is lost. With the level grid taking over most of the screen, there is enough space for a panel on the left side to feature areas showing the number of hints available the maximum is four , available mistakes and a reminder as to which button to press for a required cell and those that are blank. It is a mosaic puzzle, you really don't need much of a storyline. And since this one is unattainable, it makes another one also unattainable, winning all the trophies.

  2. In order to unlock the next grid, you must earn enough points, or make no mistakes and maintain the 3 stars. Points are earned when specific tiles are clicked correctly. I can't stop playing. Buy Now I like to be challenged and this game provides that for me.

  3. The numbers provided will tell you how many sets or groups of cells in the row or column need to be targeted plus how many cells made up each group. The pictures really don't have any reference to them. Unsure how long it really is. There are 17 available trophies or achievements to earn, and you will lose a star for each mistake that you make. I would like to know what the picture is after it is completed

  5. For those not familiar with the Nonogram concept also known as Hanjie or Griddlers , I should explain that this puzzle-type game is played on a rectangular grid which is divided into columns and rows made up cells. While the first four rooms can be accessed in this way, you will be charged an entry fee to enter the last two rooms which again are made up of 20 levels. Trying to figure out the puzzle and not to earn any stars to lower the score or have to repeat a level takes logic and brain power. There are also 17 trophies to earn, 6 for completing each room, several for earning stars and various amounts of points. You don't have to start out as a beginner, you start out with good grids.
