Its so rare that sequels live up to the standards of the first game and this is one of them. The hint button helps steer you the right way as well. Also, if you are playing in casual mode, there is no click penalty! I didn't get bored with the story, like I do with many games. The bonus chapter of the game is short but it adds a lot to the story. The way this game starts is unique and I liked having her flashback to what she remembers the more she searches "I remember now The bonus game only adds about 25 minutes but the main game is a gem that is still fantastic even 5 years later. Very creepy, very Silence of the Lambs-esque. Right click the Magnifying glass to put it back in place after use. I can honestly say that this game ranks in my top 10 favorite hidden object games ever. This is the game that I hold all others of this sort of HUD and puzzle game up against now, and while I forget a lot of the others I've played, this one is the game that I can't forget. In the hidden object scenes, the items you need to find are listed in the Object List at the bottom of the screen. You are one of my all time favorites!!

I remember when this game first came out, I thought this was the most genius approach ever! The controls are magnificent - unlike most games' "journals", this one is a notebook and it adds to the feel of the game, it's seamless and part of it. As you progress and collect items, open the tab and place the items in the correct places. There are also creative puzzles in this game. Enigmatis is a gorgeous game that takes a tired storyline and makes it interesting again. The hidden object scenes are really the only weak area of the game. Very creepy, very Silence of the Lambs-esque. Also, a couple of things you do appear in the main game. This is a special Collector's Edition release full of exclusive extras you won't find in the standard version of the game. You are given insight into where the case is going. There are also no collectibles, morphs or achievements but I have to say I kind of liked the fact it was bare. I can honestly say that this game ranks in my top 10 favorite hidden object games ever.

Great job from Artifex Mundi. Enigmatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek is a detective story. This adds a lot of additional gameplay. Luckily, you do have a hint button and Editoin you are playing in the casual setting it recharges quickly. But I digress. It blew Coolectors away then and still tickles my fancy now. Whenever your avatar lady figures something out, the journal pops up and its like you are writing yourself. The music and sound effects are very atmospheric and really add to the setting. Next to the Evidence tab is a Magnifying glass. The puzzles in this game were a bit tricky but doable. Kudos to the developers for such a winning idea. Also, Enigmafis: you are playing in casual mode, there is Magic Cauldron Chaos click penalty! So I Farm Frenzy: Hurricane Season finished playing this game for the second time. But this feature is what gives the game depth because its a brand new element and its very well done. The graphics look Ennigmatis: brush LandGrabbers and aren't the most detailed I have ever seen but do a good job of creating the creepy atmosphere and ambiance.

There was a typewriter one I couldn't figure out. The Inventory is displayed across the bottom of the screen when you move the cursor onto this area in a story scene. Cheers developers! Use this to examine evidence items more closely. There is a pen writing noise and while she writes it out, she reads it aloud. The story truly matters, and you really feel like you are investigating the happenings in this mysterious town. The voice acting is mixed. Each scene is visited times but I was never asked to find the same item twice. The only caveat seems to be slight typos in the HOS. Date published: I have to say that the bonus game was really short and although it explained the past to you, it really wasn't very riveting. Most of the characters are well voiced, but there is one character who is very stilted and mechanical sounding. I can say the 2nd one in this series, Mists Of Ravenwood was just as riveting and I enjoyed it very much. This adds a lot of additional gameplay. While Enigmatis is predominately a hidden object game, it has much more depth than many of the games in the genre.

The music and sound effects are very atmospheric and really add to the setting. I loved actually solving the crime. Let's keep in mind that this game is fromtherefore the extras we see Collectors many games are sorely lacking in this one but all is forgiven since it was made ages ago. Great job from Artifex Mundi. It Haunted Legends: The Bronze Horseman the game eerie, spooky and set the stage perfectly for a dreary town with an evil entity. The graphics look like brush painted and aren't the most detailed I have ever seen Mad Mouse do a good job of creating the creepy atmosphere and ambiance. Strangely not many developers copied it like they copy everything else. You find various notes, pictures and clues and put them on the board in order to solve the crime. You are one of my all time favorites!! Maple Creek has had several young women disappear over the years and you are trying to find out what happened to them, and Enigmatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek Collectors Edition rescue the most recent victim.


The music and sound effects are very atmospheric and really add to the setting. I rarely use the notebook in games. This might just be an issue for the android version. Mists of Ravenwood is up next. Also, if you are playing in casual mode, there is no click penalty! My only regret is that I found out that this title comes before Mists of Ravenwood after playing Mists first. I wish more games had creativity like this. Oh, well, still loved the game. The music and sound effects are very atmospheric and really add to the setting. The game only has 2 modes of difficulty. As you look around, your memories start to come back to you. I never had to search for a butterfly.

  1. The bonus chapter of the game is short but it adds a lot to the story. You use a mapping technique to figure out how who the suspects are, where the crime happened etc. Nice plot and I feel I got my money's worth in terms of length of the game. Enigmatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek is a detective story.

When the story begins, you have just woken up after a storm with no memory of where you are or what you were doing.
