Insane Cold: Back to the Ice Age

Jacob sat in the café, waiting for his wife. Helen had a special gift waiting for her for this anniversary: an amulet Jacob had picked up in an antique shop. But Jacob did not know that his gift contained within it a great power, a power meant to awaken an ancient evil. In a flash, frost giants were unleashed upon the world and kidnapped Helen. A perpetual frost has descended upon the city and there appears to be few survivors. Help Jacob find Helen and uncover the dark truth behind the amulet and this otherworldly frost that threatens humanity. To set his beloved free and save the planet from the impending disaster, Jacob must overcome his fear and face the cold head on. Help the hero battle this malicious evil by solving puzzles, rescuing survivors, and finding useful items. Can you help thwart the sinister plans of the frost giants?

Great game, will keep you coming back for more. Still, the help is fair. It is terrible, repetitious few notes over and over, grates on your nerves. Can Jacob destroy the ice giants in time to save Helen? No glitches or bugs. The only way to stop the giants is with the medallion that needs the souls of 17 people to activate. It has the creep factor that I love in games. Think about it, whenever a character walks, it is jerky and stiff with no joint movements, and don't get me started on animals, a recent game I played had a small dog that glided sideways and his legs didn't even move! Before Jacob could get out of the booth, the stranger blasted Helen with his icy blue eyes and froze her in her tracks, threw her into a black coffin and dragged her into the darkness! Hope who fesses up that he inherited both the shop and the medallion from his great grandfather who told him of a legend about 7 foot ice giants that need human souls to survive. No VO's but that was OK. Some of the scenes are repeated which disappoints me, I hate repeated scenes because it's boring and you know where everything is a second time around. I would definitely recommend this game, if you like to think before you try.
