Several of the inventory items you find have plus signs indicating some type of interaction must be performed before the item can be used such as combining it with another inventory item or solving a quick puzzle. On the second mini game it said to line things up. The music is mostly nonexistent and forgettable. This made me skip most of the innovative puzzles as the mechanics of the touch lagged or was off. All are centered around carnival themed items and very entertaining, but you can also opt for the Bubble Shoot game instead. The art was OK. I think it presents the best of play at all levels. Embark down the path of the twisted illusions and trickery and do not believe what your eyes can see. The story is fine, solve a murder by interrogation and evidence finding which was a new game mechanic and interesting. Once again we are equipped with a simple but effective Forensics Kit to examine the victims, and draw a conclusion. The only thing better than solving a new Dead Reckoning whodunit game, is a Dead Reckoning whodunit game at the carnival! The puzzles are mostly fresh new ideas and difficult. All are centered around carnival themed items and very entertaining, but you can also opt for the Bubble Shoot game instead. Played on kindle 10 By far the worst bit was touch control requiring many taps before registering, targeting was o poor that weren't sure if your touch was a bad idea or you just didn't have the item placed right. The Hidden Object Scenes are varied, some are progressive interactive finds that match the sketches, some are silhouetted shape finds and the standard interactive list finds. I'd rate it 3. This review is based upon the demo period only because I am not sure whether I am going to buy the CE. The two mini games I ran across did not have good enough instructions for me to complete them. There is also my favorite, the souvenir room, plus a bubble shooter and the other normal extras.

  7. This edition has good visuals, voice acting, and yesteryear theme. Gonna have to buy to save myself from the tiger! The lips in the voice-overs actually match the words the characters are speaking. The carnival theme is throughout the game, including the HOS and the mini-games.
