I found another Christmas series to add to my holiday list for next year. I'll level with you fishies, if this game had not come out I would have cancelled my subscription at the end of the year as I have become so disillusioned with all the poor quality "Doom and Gloom" cookie Cursed House 5 product that has come out since Paul Thelan left the company. However this is a well crafted and charming story with a real Christmas feel and a well balanced progression that makes you want to turn the page. There are also the usual wallpaper, concept art, replayable videos, HOPs and mini games, which don't excite me at all. Not enjoyed a game as much for a long while. I highly recommend it. What is there to say except that I love Christmas games? The Mini Games are easy to medium in difficulty. Having said that it is not without it's problems, and it is clearly a new company Learning the trade as there are some ropy production issues the cut-scene animations are, well, not very good and a few bugs that need a patch.

Sure it gets bogged down towards the middle somewhat but that in no way makes it a deal breaker and on the whole this is an excellent product so well done to them as an introductory offering from this company, I will definitely be watching this space for more. Yes, the game will be a buy for me. And Merry Christmas! Well, because we are all living in BFG land, what would a game be without a wicked witch? There are a plenty of scenes in different styles in the game, and all members of the family can play it for hours. If you prefer the CE version of a game this one includes Emeralds Legendary Mahjong collect that are hidden in each scene and will be used later in the bonus section. The Teddy Floppy Ear: Mountain Adventure are excellent and varied with some being different than those normally seen. The Strategy Guide, of course, tells you where they are. This is a beautiful game that is easy to recommend. Other reviewers need to keep in mind that not everyone dislikes helpers; some people enjoy them in a game. Not enjoyed a game as much for a long while. The only time the helper makes any noise is to bark to let you know he can be used, which is what you would expect the dog to do in the real world. However this is a well crafted and charming story with a real Christmas feel and a well balanced progression that makes you want to turn the page.

  1. The storyline with Oz characters is unique for this time of year. Did you happen know that whenever someone leaves Oz and enters our world a star falls? There are also Firecrackers and Book Pages scattered around Oz to find. Nice feature to have. There are also firework sparklers hidden throughout main story and bonus chapter, and you can set these fireworks off they form images like butterflies, xmas stockings, Santa Claus, etc.

The Collector's Edition is also quite rewarding, it includes a strategy guide, wallpapers, concept art, a screensaver, soundtracks, achievements, collectibles, morphing objects, and a secret room. Other reviewers need to keep in mind that not everyone dislikes helpers; some people enjoy them in a game. Game was beautifully done, and got me into the Christmas spirit. The sound doesn't manage to match the top quality of the graphics, unfortunately.

Well, it seems that the recent sale of BFG to Aristocrat Entertainment is already having good results and I am giving this a rare Five Stars because new companies like this need our support. There is really nothing different with the HOPS and puzzles in the game except that they are all related in one way or another to Christmas. They are so colorful and vibrant well at least most of the time and generally bring out my inner child as I sit down to play for a few hours. I hope next year Domini turns a classic story into a delightful holiday treat!

  5. The storyline does a nice job also. The HOPs were interesting and interactive and the puzzles gave you an 'easy' or 'hard' option. Visit beautiful holiday themed scenes, solve a variety of puzzles and have loads of fun in this wonderful game Domini did an excellent job of putting a new spin on a classic story.

Your tools include a map and yes, there is a helper. If you like Christmas games, you'll love this.   7. In this case the witch happens to be that Witch of the North who along with her pack of gremlins is bent on destroying Christmas. Can you save the holidays in time? I generally find pet helpers to be okay in a game and as a dog lover I never seem to mind them as much as squawky birds but unfortunately Toto is not very well behaved and seems to make some sort of noise throughout the game. Since we all have different taste in games, please try the demo to see if The Christmas Spirit Trouble in Oz is a game you will enjoy. Unlike a few others, I found the graphics in this game are great.

The Strategy Guide, of course, tells you where they are. Graphics are really nice in this game, though, just like the animations. Oz is celebrating its first Christmas, and your friends want you to join them for the festivities!
