Although I did think the introductory scenes's narration was a bit rushed, it by no means detracted from the excellence of the overall game and our facination with the mayans myths. These varied in challenge for me. Some of you might find them easy but I found at least a bit more challenge than usual. On the other hand, Blood Moon is not as fun as it could be due to the lack of any challenges in the game. Visually stunning! If, however, a bonus chapter is enough for you, then the CE is worth it You have 36 morphing objects to find, plus 25 totems that turn into birds when you click on them. This game does give a nice recap and brings you up to date. I also really enjoyed the cut scenes. While the mayan theme definitely runs throughout the game, I noticed that many artifacts collected and used in the mini-games were actually Egyptian in origin. Although Mayan Prophecies, Blood Moon was an instant purchase for me and I highly recommend the game, please at least give the demo a try to see if this is a game you will like. The graphics are good and reminiscent of the graphics in the first Mayan Prophecies game but, unfortunately, the overuse of a worn out color palette in fantasy type games is becoming a bit tiresome. The puzzles are fun I also really enjoyed the cut scenes. Elefun has become one of my top favorite game developers and we can almost always count on a first-rate game from them. Sometimes the petite little birds are obvious to find but keep your eyes open because you never know where they might pop up. Five plus stars for the 3rd and even more exciting Mayan Prophecies sequel. If you, however, do not want to search for items in the scenes, you have the option to play a mahjong game instead. This is the third in the Mayan series, which is summarized in the beginning.

Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by pcpat from Who's the One? Much like the first Mayan game, this one is also narrated which personalizes the game and adds to the urgency of the "save the world" plot. It has an awesome story and it is delivered in a fun, beautifully detailed game. I was getting a bit skeptical that all the so-called free to play games would push out these truly exquisite games such as Mayan Prophecies of which I so look forward to playing! I haven't finished a game trial in one sitting for ages but this game held my attention and I did not want to stop playing and was quite peeved when the trial finished. Early in the game you will acquire a special amulet that will allow you to make use of a unique helper. The entire game was well designed, well displayed and very gorgeous. There is SO much to do. The animation in this game was spectacular as were the cut scenes which relay the story and background of our heroes and villians who are back for a repeat performance in the sequel.
