Mayan Prophecies: Blood Moon

From EleFun Games, creators of the Fear for Sale and Witches' Legacy series, comes a brand-new Mayan prophecy to uncover! Wild jaguars are running loose down the streets of a coastal South American town, but this is no act of nature - a hooded man is transforming people into jaguars and controlling them! U.S. Coast Guard Officers Alexis and Gregory are on the case, but they're up against a mighty foe. A young Mayan priestess claims that the Jaguar God is behind the attacks, continuing a war with the Moon Goddess that has raged for centuries. You'll need all your skills to save the world from erupting into chaos in this thrilling Hidden Object Puzzle Adventure game.

Although I did think the introductory scenes's narration was a bit rushed, it by no means detracted from the excellence of the overall game and our facination with the mayans myths. These varied in challenge for me. Some of you might find them easy but I found at least a bit more challenge than usual. On the other hand, Blood Moon is not as fun as it could be due to the lack of any challenges in the game. Visually stunning! If, however, a bonus chapter is enough for you, then the CE is worth it You have 36 morphing objects to find, plus 25 totems that turn into birds when you click on them. This game does give a nice recap and brings you up to date. I also really enjoyed the cut scenes. While the mayan theme definitely runs throughout the game, I noticed that many artifacts collected and used in the mini-games were actually Egyptian in origin. Early in the game you will acquire a special amulet that will allow you to make use of a unique helper. Still had 34 minutes left. Although Mayan Prophecies, Blood Moon was an instant purchase for me and I highly recommend the game, please at least give the demo a try to see if this is a game you will like. The graphics are good and reminiscent of the graphics in the first Mayan Prophecies game but, unfortunately, the overuse of a worn out color palette in fantasy type games is becoming a bit tiresome.

The puzzles are fun I also really enjoyed the cut scenes. I truly enjoyed this game. I did enjoy the first. I love the types of puzzles that this developer includes in its games because they are usually a bit more difficult than the norm. I didn't even purchase it. These varied in challenge for me. Some locations from main game however a few new ones. HOS: I came across two types: Interactive word list and silhouette. Elefun has become one of my top favorite game developers and we can almost always count on a first-rate game from them. Sometimes the petite little birds are obvious to find but keep your eyes open because you never know where they might pop up. Five plus stars for the 3rd and even more exciting Mayan Prophecies sequel. If you, however, do not want to search for items in the scenes, you have the option to play a mahjong game instead. This is the third in the Mayan series, which is summarized in the beginning.

Homme Mayan Prophecies: Blood Moon

Hidden object scenes even have a variety in Mayan Prophecies: Blood Moon such as putting objects in the correct location, list search, silhouette search, or you Frankenstein: The Village switch to a game of mahjong. In this series:. Three characters are carry-overs. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by Pantin31 from A savage game! I did enjoy the first. A bit strange, but still did not detract from the game's fun factor and engagement of the mini-games. I also loved the characters. We have Cat Wash 'morphing' objects and Totem poles that turn into little birds when you touch them with Mystery P.I.: The Vegas Heist cursor. I truly enjoyed this game. In fact, he comes in quite handy and really adds to the overall gameplay. Hidden object scenes are not terribly challenging and the gameplay is nothing innovative or complicated. While it doesn't have all the CE bling other developers provide, this is Fashion Rush good story that is easy to follow. Visuals and sound were great! Although Mayan Prophecies, Blood Moon was an instant purchase for me and I highly recommend the game, please at least give the demo a try to see if this is a game you will like.

Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by pcpat from Who's the One? Much like the first Mayan game, this one is also narrated which personalizes the game and adds to the urgency of the "save the world" plot. It has an awesome story and it is delivered in a fun, beautifully detailed game. I really enjoyed playing this game, although I had not played the previous ones I really like the interactive HO scenes The game play I found to be pretty linear for the most part however more into the game a little back tracking. There are four modes, including custom. While the mayan theme definitely runs throughout the game, I noticed that many artifacts collected and used in the mini-games were actually Egyptian in origin. All the beautifully rendered, crisp scenes and adventure of an Indiana Jones movie. Date published: Sometimes the petite little birds are obvious to find but keep your eyes open because you never know where they might pop up. The graphics are nice and bright, the voice-overs good. In fact, he comes in quite handy and really adds to the overall gameplay. Some locations from main game however a few new ones. There are a variety of things to do in this game.

There is no feeding it, naming it, dressing it up or buying things for it. We enjoyed the accompany of the music throughout the game as it suits the game well; however, the voice overs are Champion Chef little flat which drained out the excitement in the game at times. Beautiful graphicsgreat gameplay and definitely my favourite game so far this year. Most the music is quiet noises and music, there were a couple that were kind of loud, but I didn't find them annoying at all. I truly enjoyed this game. The only annoying thing I found was in the beginning of the game there is a man knocking on the door continually while your trying to figure what to do next, Mayan Prophecies: Blood Moon other than that all was very nice. Anyway, Gomez has the blade that captured Xalan, the God of the Jaguars. Great job, Ele-Fun and thank you for an awesome game! The graphics, so far, are bright and seem to be very in keeping with the Mayan period. Blokd collectors edition has 9 wallpapers, 9 concept art, 3 screensavers, a mayan horoscope which I have no idea what it doesa bonus chapter, and of course the strategy guide. It ReignMaker good production values and cool collectibles, but completing Prohecies: is definitely a no-brainer.

One of my favorite scenes is that of a manatee caught in a net -- quite a realistic occurrence down here in Florida! Try it and see. These varied in challenge for me. I was getting a bit skeptical that all the so-called free to play games would push out these truly exquisite games such as Mayan Prophecies of which I so look forward to playing! I haven't finished a game trial in one sitting for ages but this game held my attention and I did not want to stop playing and was quite peeved when the trial finished. Early in the game you will acquire a special amulet that will allow you to make use of a unique helper. The entire game was well designed, well displayed and very gorgeous. There is SO much to do. Anyway, Gomez has the blade that captured Xalan, the God of the Jaguars. The animation in this game was spectacular as were the cut scenes which relay the story and background of our heroes and villians who are back for a repeat performance in the sequel. Gregory is turned into a jaguar who is helpful at times and lazy most of the time. The HOS are a bit hard, but you can play Mahjong instead. Gregory now becomes your animal helper to get into high places and dig or whatever.

  1. There was one misnamed item, it was a pinecone While the mayan theme definitely runs throughout the game, I noticed that many artifacts collected and used in the mini-games were actually Egyptian in origin. In fact, he comes in quite handy and really adds to the overall gameplay. It has good production values and cool collectibles, but completing it is definitely a no-brainer. I love this game

  2. However this one does fit the game and the story here. This latest release in this series is the best and even with an animal helper. While the mayan theme definitely runs throughout the game, I noticed that many artifacts collected and used in the mini-games were actually Egyptian in origin. It's a buy for me! Blood Moon is connected to the two previous installments very lightly in terms of the plot.

  3. Aside from all the pink, purple, and blue again over wash in many scenes the graphics in general are very good but it is my humble opinion that they could have been a bit sharper. The graphics, so far, are bright and seem to be very in keeping with the Mayan period. You have to help the moon goddess, since she is dying, and losing strength.

  4. It is also interesting to be able to play mahjong instead of the HOS. The second is Cursed Island. Five Plus Stars! Very good flow.

  5. They are lists or silhouettes, but as you find each item you uncover a piece to a lock or a box that holds your final item. There's also still some black bar tips. First of all this review is based on playing the 'demo' only.

  6. I didn't find all the morphing objects and birds, so I have to go back and find them all. It didn't continue the story, which is wonderful, but was a separate game on it's own. Gregory is turned into a jaguar who is helpful at times and lazy most of the time. If you haven't played the first two I don't think it's necessary.

  7. But if you are looking for more bells and whistles in the Extra section as some of the more recent popular games sport, you will be disappointed. In fact, he comes in quite handy and really adds to the overall gameplay. Blood Moon is connected to the two previous installments very lightly in terms of the plot. Voices were great for me.. NOT necessary yours.

  8. A bit strange, but still did not detract from the game's fun factor and engagement of the mini-games. The Mayan Prophesy series is well known in the adventure game world and Ele-Fun made sure the sequel was just as creative and fun as the original. On the other hand, Blood Moon is not as fun as it could be due to the lack of any challenges in the game. The only thing that keeps this from being excellent is while I didn't have any sparkles indicated where the HOS where however once in a HOS there were sparkles on some things when finding pieces to complete objects. If, however, a bonus chapter is enough for you, then the CE is worth it

  9. I love this game I love the types of puzzles that this developer includes in its games because they are usually a bit more difficult than the norm. I will comment that I chose the mahjong game frequently because the HOPs seemed very crowded with just way too many items to sort through to find what I needed.
