Very unique HOS and puzzles. On the other hand, we got to explore the exquisitely-decorated rooms inside the Smithsonian castle and learnt more historical facts. Moreover, the puzzles are highly entertaining; a few are fairly standard, while the challenge level of many other is not too overwhelming. I have been on Big Fish games for years and certainly have played lots and lots of games, but I enjoyed this one so much that I ended up playing it again right after I played it the first time. Apart from the standard features like the Custom Difficulty and the interactive map, we also had the usual Fact Cards — great tools for history-lovers. The soundtracks did nothing less to impress us, the background music is soothing while not being too sleepy. The game let you re-try over and over. Sound is very good. The hidden object scenes are innovative and fun, with many interactive features and multiple-layered scenes. Date published: Anyone else have that? Some puzzles were too easy, but the story and general searches were incredible. This is an awesome game. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by 2kittiesmom from This is a winner! On one hand, the storyline is more straightforward and thus, less exciting than those of the previous games. Some of the mini-games are new to me and the hidden objects are either interactive or unusual. I did get a bit confused with some of the characters which always seems to happen when dealing with "time" changes for me. Rated 5 out of 5 by bessiegirl from Totally enjoyed this unique game Although the game appeared to be short it was because I was so caught up in it and couldn't stop playing. Although there are definitely some fantasy elements to this installment of Hidden Expedition, the time travel part, for instance, we appreciated that Smithsonian Castle is much more realistic than many games released lately. Very unique HOS and puzzles. Unlike the previous two Hidden Expedition games from Eipix, the locations in this sequel are mostly indoors, which could act as a double-edged sword really. I'll have to admit, I skipped several puzzles as I am not much of a puzzle player, but they were unique so puzzle nuts will enjoy them. There is a map.
