Fable of Dwarfs

The good-hearted King of the Dwarves is relying on you to lead a building expedition! You'll need all of your wit and imagination to successfully oppose the merciless northern winds, save the homes of a desert's inhabitants from plagues of locusts, and battle a thick fog that threatens a priests' temple. Learn about ancient Dwarven talismans, save Yellowforest from wildfire, and help those who need it most in Fable of Dwarfs!

Each level starts out with 3 stars and as the timer drains down, the stars diminish as well. Good, solid game that leaves me with simply nothing to say! So why was my overall Rating "OK"? IF getting all the stars and achievements matters to you as it does for me I'd advise against getting this game - or at least against 'buying it'. Don't get me wrong, I like a challenge. But if it doesn't, I'd say it's up to you. I'm a Player from Germany and was afraid, my English could'nt be good enough to play it. I just loved it. But that is where the comparison ends. However the times are set so that they aren't any problem to finish. If I wanted to play a slow game where I had to guess what was coming next I would buy a deck of cards and play solitaire. This one is very similar to those, though not exactly identical. The building, mining, and destruction to build something new are common themes. It is one of those games that you can play over and over again. Rated 5 out of 5 by bethy from Really Fun Game Loved everything about this game except for the fact that there was no Untimed Mode. As someone who really likes tm games I am really pleased seeing another one come up so soon. You can get out of the game--but the exit button should be there. I played the entire game in relaxed mode and loved it. No untimed mode. Even the occasional treasure chest. And last, but not least, is the big deal breaker. Especially when you're waiting for stuff like buildings to produce food or houses to produce a certain amount of money. However, you cannot click ahead. I'm a Player from Germany and was afraid, my English could'nt be good enough to play it. Its just simply great for scratching that TM itch. This one is not up to the standards already set by those and it is not worth your money in my opinion. The challenge, when the challenge is realistic. This game plays like Royal Envoy, which in my opinion is fantastic. Good, solid game that leaves me with simply nothing to say! Royal Envoy. There's also too much talking between the characters in the beginning, too much to read through. And at the end of sections of the game, there's a special task that needs to be completed.

20-25 Fable of Dwarfs

I never listen to sounds or music so I can't comment there. Also, it's hard to tell what the buildings are - graphics are too cutesy. Challenging as are the other building games. To collect goods and money you just have to sweep over object. And just like Fable of Dwarfs, it has trees that can be chopped as well as sawmills, food that can be collected as well as a market, gold mines as well as rocks to mine it from, etc. Instead you get to just blunder through the level over and over until you eventually get to all the gotcha areas and can start making your plan. I Laruaville 9 currently on level 50 something, and I am telling you, the challenge if your up to that sort of thing is perfect. Especially when Fantasy Quest Solitaire waiting for stuff like buildings to produce food or houses to produce a certain amount of money. So far, I'm on level 32, so I am managing to complete them, but 3 stars is almost impossible. It makes My Farm think, and as a result, you will find yourself redoing some Bubble Zoo 2 the levels trying to figure out the best strategy to get to the finish. The colors Fable of Dwarfs story are great. I'm tired of that story by now. Loved everything about it except for that one major flaw and that is the only reason I'm not recommending it.

You get bored collecting rent and watching the clock run down. Game play is smooth without having to click too much. This game is in the vein of Northern Tale, Viking Brothers, and other games like it. It's all about slogging through the "mist" and dealing with things that won't tell you what they require until you get through the mist, build a bridge, and click on it. I don't mind if you don't get your gold stars and you can just keep playing the level. Buy it and try yourself! It's proven to not be an easy game, however it's packed with fun for me. The building, mining, and destruction to build something new are common themes. But a game that is too frustrating can be just as NUX as a game that is just too easy. This was a Deal Breaker for me even at the DD price They've actually put a lot of thought into them, as your dwarf workers come with different hair colors and Favle, and there are little details on some of the buildings that add to the ambiance in the game. I highly recommend it and purchased it as soon as the trial was over! Have DDwarfs played 5 minutes of the demo and already bought it using one of my game credits. Mahjong Secrets characters are not as much fun.
