The first was tough but not so tough that it wasnt fun. I couldn't stop playing it and it enthralled me so much I was obsessed with playing it and so happy to see the second edition. Oh, what happened?!!! My only reason for not giving a 5-star rating is it keeps crashing, both game 1 and 2 do. Worst part, unless you get gold or silver on the first five levels - you can't play 'sandbox' mode. They are games I play over and over. I also liked the different items you could buy, like discos, bars, souvenir shops and I also liked at the end of each section each island you could carry on collecting money and doing the island up more. There is NO time to "decorate", so stores are basically just thrown into empty spaces The gameplay IS fun I asked for a fix, but they said it was my computer and I get a free game. I thought i was going to play a couple levels and what not.. This is a fun game and you won't finish it in a couple hours!

There are various structures to erect. There is no penalty for not finishing "in time" other than you won't earn these bonuses. I don't worry about the time when I play; I just enjoy building. The first edition of Paradise Beach was absolutely fantastic Too bad, cause it is my all time fav. There is NO time to "decorate", so stores are basically just thrown into empty spaces I thought i was going to play a couple levels and what not.. I loved that too I would not recommend this edition at all. Addictive fun! It gets way too frustrating trying to get gold on each level. The addition of the minotaurs seems misplaced to me. I was a big fan of the first edition, but this was even better.

This game was definitely worth the money and I will be hoping for a 3rd sequel! I loved that too This is a fun game and you won't finish it in a couple hours! Date published: Rated 3 out of 5 by PumpkinEscobar from Not as fun as the 1st one I really liked the first Paradise Beach so I was excited to see part 2. I could not, despite MANY tries, even get 'silver' on the second level. This game is awesome, you get to build on fab beach locations and hire a crew to help with anything from cleanup to mantainence, security and life guards. Add to this that even Fiction Fixers: Alice in Wonderland, with all the overcrowding on your screen, it can be difficult to even see that an item needs repair. Natural Threat 2 level has a different goal on a different island — build homes for the pandas, save the emus etc. The first one, I would highly recommend. The first was tough but not so tough that it wasnt fun. I couldn't stop playing it and it enthralled me so much I was obsessed with playing it and so happy to see the second edition.

The goals get a little more challenging the further you go at each destination but none too difficult or too boring and you can play in sandbox mode. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by penneybright from Even better than Paradise Beach! In this one, however, I could never get the happiness up within the allotted amount of time -- not to mention that it gets more annoying as the game goes on. I really enjoyed the first one. There seemed to be not much new over the last one. The customers who lose things are a little too frequent and there's not much challenge - objects are usually right next to them. Stick with the first one. The gameplay IS fun I especially loved the animals and the store where you can buy even more for your islands. Plus, their long string of text tends to block the very thing you are looking for. Now the positive things: It is fun to build a resort. I hope they come out with a fourth installation with at least the same talent the original team had I was a big fan of the first edition, but this was even better. Addictive fun!

In this one, however, I could never get the happiness up within the allotted amount of time -- not to mention that it gets more annoying as the game goes on. Wogld to this that even visually, with all the overcrowding on your screen, it can be difficult to even see that an item needs repair. I also liked Beacg different items you could buy, like discos, bars, souvenir shops and I also liked at the end of each section each island you could carry on collecting money and doing the island up more. Each level has a different goal on a different island — build homes for the pandas, save the thee etc. Too bad, cause it Mermaid Adventures: The Magic Pearl my all time fav. Like others have said, you are dependent on the AI to achieve your goals. I thought i was going to play a couple levels and what not.

It is very addictive and I have enjoyed going back and replaying to beat my high scores. Rated 5 out of 5 by cherja from Paradise Beach 3 Love this game and! I really enjoyed the first one. Plus, their long string of text tends to block the very thing you are looking for. This, the second version, is completely cheap and tacky with gross neon colors and ugly characters and cartoony unrealistic graphics, the wonderful Paradise 'world' is no more There seemed to be not much new over the last one. I thought i was going to play a couple levels and what not.. Lots of fun, challenging, very nice graphics.

  1. All in all, I would give this game 3. The quality, charm and overall great game are GONE. They are games I play over and over. This is faithfull to the point of no

  2. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by popi42 from build free.. There are a lot of things you can build and decorations like flowers, fountains, statues, etc. I could not, despite MANY tries, even get 'silver' on the second level. The first one, I would highly recommend. That didn't affect my enjoyment of the game at all; I was able to take as much time as I wanted and still got all the upgrades in the store.

  3. This is a fun game and you won't finish it in a couple hours! You get to build your facilities where you want to instead of games that you have to build in specific places. I could not, despite MANY tries, even get 'silver' on the second level. I thought i was going to play a couple levels and what not.. Worst part, unless you get gold or silver on the first five levels - you can't play 'sandbox' mode.

  4. I couldn't stop playing it and it enthralled me so much I was obsessed with playing it and so happy to see the second edition. Oh, what happened?!!! But this one, not at all.

  5. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by penneybright from Even better than Paradise Beach! Your items fall into disrepair too quickly AND there is no audio indicator of this. This, the second version, is completely cheap and tacky with gross neon colors and ugly characters and cartoony unrealistic graphics, the wonderful Paradise 'world' is no more

  6. The customers who lose things are a little too frequent and there's not much challenge - objects are usually right next to them. The gameplay IS fun I was extremely happy with the length of the game and the bonus games!

  7. There are a lot of things you can build and decorations like flowers, fountains, statues, etc. The main differences between this one and its predecessor is that this version has a trophy system as well as a 'store' to buy statues etc. The first edition of Paradise Beach was absolutely fantastic

  8. However, the game play itself is too frantic, and you have to scroll around the islands as your resort becomes bigger trying to make people happy and set up items etc. I have Paradise Beach 1 and 2 and I love them both. I couldn't stop playing it and it enthralled me so much I was obsessed with playing it and so happy to see the second edition. This falls way short of the first edition.

  9. But the biggest of these differences is the gameplay. I was extremely happy with the length of the game and the bonus games! That didn't affect my enjoyment of the game at all; I was able to take as much time as I wanted and still got all the upgrades in the store.
