I am guilty of the gory, scary, etc. No real strategy involved, just click faster. Some of the levels are simple and some are quite complex to get the three stars requiring a lot of thought and perfect timing to complete. It's worth the money. Although I like some challenge when it comes to point and click, I don't want to play something that I feel to win the level I just have to click repeatedly I love everything about it including the fact that the difference in my brain clarity is huge! This game had me going for hours on end wanting to know what happens next. I love that series! But for now I'll just enjoy the replay of RE1. I tried to get my husband to try this game, but he stubbornly refused saying "oh its just one of those building games - I'm not into them. I was skeptical at first on whether to purchase the CE or just the regular version. Love, love, love them! And these types of games aren't the only type I play. I love a game that makes you use your brain. I also like that as the levels progress they are a mix between easy and hard, so that I never got frustrated. Overall the game is excellent. I truly enjoyed playing this game.

The peeps that make this game have an imagination and it is very enjoying to play. You build, upgrade, demolish, get food trading at the market and go help villagers in many types of territories and weather. I just had a surgery done and so am needing to do nothing and relax. Just out of curiosity I will probably eventually breakdown and get it. The CE also has an integrated strategy guide but I only needed it once when I played on and on and on and on and couldn't figure out how to get a dang machine to work. Highly recommended! I liked the way Ediion game progressively became harder with each level that you passed. OMG I got so tired of hearing the market owners yell that out every 5 seconds, it nearly drove me batty. I cannot stress enough how much I highly recommend this game. I am Royal Envoy Collectors Edition big fan of the Royal Envoy games and this one I loved the most.
