  1. I wasn't crazy about the last one, Fleecing the Fleece, because it just seemed to be a repeat of the ones before, but How I Met Megara has upped the ante! There are 3 modes, relaxed, casual, and expert for whatever mood you may be in when you fire the game up. Granted there are a lot of these games now, so they had to keep coming up with new storylines, but when one of the selling points on the game is literally listed as "romance and cute kittens," you know this one might be stretching a bit. Why do I think this part is the best one in the series?

  2. There are hidden places on the map on several levels, new appearance of the main characters young Hercules and Megara , interesting tasks such as destroy the altar or save the cats , nice looking levels, the Pyramid you partly open after finishing every next level in gold time and so on. One level you are on a boat, the next on the back of a serpent, and even being chased by mummies in a Pyramid, it's just a really cool theme in my opinion. Thre is for some reason a vending machine that will give you food for gold well I guess we are in the desert and food is sparse You will need to work out how much to spend vs keeping your gold to remove crystals.

  3. I did appreciate that they let you preview the board before the timer starts, so you can take a good look around and formulate a strategy before you begin the level. I've played all the Hercules series and this one does not disappoint. Music is nice and not annoying, colors are bright, and story is humorous and exciting. No spoilers: just play and find out! I'm playing in the middle mode which is still timed but more relaxed and have made gold in all but 2 levels.
